Edit: Looks like he shot an FT air ball when he was with us. I don't remember this game.

He shot a lot more than one
Don't know what Dwight's problem is. 1 defensive rebound in 40 minutes of game time? He hasn't looked 100% physically in any of the games I've seen of him this season, but he has put up big games so that's no excuse. He has not blossomed into the player we had all hoped he would be when he was with us. He's still a top 5 player and obviously very very good, but I don't think he has that fire and drive of the great ones. Dwight's biggest weakness is in his mind.
My guess is, it's a combination of things:
1. He truly isn't 100%, or more likely, he's 100% but afraid to test it. He may be fully healed but still feel pain.
2. He's under an intense media spotlight. He probably thought/hoped it would abate once the trade was done, but he didn't realize that playing in a major media market means major media scrutiny.
3. He has discovered he can't be the same guy he was here, happy go lucky personality and charm of the locker room. He's expected to act like a professional, and that really isn't his personality.
4. He's also discovering that playing in a major market under that scrutiny isn't that much fun. He wouldn't be the first athlete that joined a big market team asan all-star to wither in the lights. Happens all the time to players who join the Yankees, Mets, or Knicks. They can't handle it and fade, or move back to a smaller market to regain their success.
5. He's no longer the ringleader in the locker room - now he's a sideshow to Kobe's spotlight, and he doesn't like that.
Basically, I suspect (as I have said for the past few years) that he's going to become more and more unhappy playing in a big market, and given his lack of maturity, he'll continue to pout. He could learn to live with it and thrive, but I'm not sure he will.
