Howard also didn't like being questioned about his free throw shooting.

"People are going to say whatever they want to say, but at the end of the day, go back and look at the game," he said. "The reason we lost was not my free throws. That didn't lose us the game. Our defense was not there in the fourth quarter."

He needs to grow up and take responsibility. He's not the only reason they lost but he's a big part of why they lost.

Edit: He's also cost the Magic quite a few games with his free throw shooting, including a game in the Finals.

At least Shaq had a couple of rudimentary moves, and was an excellent passer. Other than that running hook he likes and the bank shot he might take once every five games, I can't think of anything Dwight has that can be classified as a legitimate post game. This pretty much eliminates his ability to be used as a consistent focal point.

Some things dont change.

Damn this fool is something else, typical Dwight. So quick to throw everyone else under the bus instead of just looking in the mirror. For me one mark of a leader is when they can acknowledge their own faults and vow to get better this dude isn't a leader. He should of said that he'll work hard so that other teams can't take advantage of that, while it may be a little white lie at least he would be acknowledging it and not try to bring the team into the equation because at the end of the day he missed those free throws not the team.

I got a kick out of this quote when I read it earlier as well. When you miss eight of sixteen free throws and your team loses by two...the reason you lost was in fact those free throws.

I guess hitting half is good enough for Dwight now.

it's funny Ryan just might be Dwight's best complimentary player, him with the lakers would make them better

Duhon 10 assists, 0 turnovers... I dislike seeing that.

Not me. If he has one game like this every six or seven played, but reverts to form the rest of them, it's just enough to givenancoach hope and let him "play through his troubles." The more he plays, the worse it is for the Lakers.

That's so nice! We are in a much better position than Cavaliers, they let LeBron go and LeBron showed how great he was, won a title, is a leader and bla bla bla, now D12 left us and everyone is complaining about him.

Kobe is already complaining about Gasol, imagine when he destroys D12, he will cry just like BBD cried when KG talked about him.

Maybe now people will notice he is no Shaq/Hakeem and he is a David Robinson/Zo caliber player, but without their mental capacity, loyalty and leadership.

Ok vs the Thunder, Duhon dribbled the ball off his foot at half court leading to a fast break layup. He then fouled Westbrook shooting a 3 which he made plus the ft.

Howard then spots up for a three on the baseline to end the half lol. He cant make a ft yet he fancies himself a 3 point shooter lol. LA got issues.

Kobe has tried to stay on Dwight's good side, at least in public, but I wonder how long it will be before Howard drives him crazy with his childishness and lack of responsibility. Could be interesting to see.

If "interesting" in this case is a euphemism for "a freaking laugh riot," then yes, it will be interesting.
