76ers' guard Lou Williams will opt out of his contract and will become a free agent. Potential suitors: Brooklyn, Utah, Orlando, Dallas.

Not sure if this was posted.

I am sure somebody will overpay for his scoring ability.

Trade speculation started around Gay when the team advanced as far as they did last season while he was out nursing a shoulder injury, and that talk continues because sources close to his camp insist he is unhappy and would welcome a trade.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Toronto Raptors are also aggressively shopping for a star-caliber small forward, and have been tied to talks surrounding Tyreke Evans and Andre Iguodala. They have now also reportedly added Gay to their wishlist.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Rockets have been after a star-caliber upgrade at the three for some time, having made overtures to the Philadelphia 76ers regarding Andre Iguodala and to the Indiana Pacers regarding Danny Granger.

Miami Heat guard Mike Miller (32 years old) to retire after the season, says source.

Mike Miller told teammates after defeating Boston Saturday night "I've only got two more weeks left in my career, let's go win it."

Strange.

I would love Lou Will! He's been one of my favorite players since his rookie season.

I see your retiring story, and raise you with an anti-retirement story.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... ent_Report

Mike Miller has denied a report from ESPN that he has told teammates that he plans to retire after the Finals despite having three more seasons remaining on his contract.

“At this point, everybody’s a little banged up,” Miller told the Palm Beach Post. “Everybody’s going through things. I’ll re-evaluate my health after the season. But I don’t have anything set up. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Yea he has been great off the bench for Philly. Wonder if he will be looking for a starting role.

this is kinda funny....What if Shaw accepts the job if offered? here we are dragging our ass and the one coach Dwight would be cool with coaching here might be off the map before we even start to interview coaches? Our timelines is seriously phucked imo....the devos family is making the decision on GM which is said to be happening next week...roughly about a week before the draft.....at that point we'll probably start to search for coaches which will take another month just to narrow it down to 3....i like the fact that we're taking our time to get it right....but the clock is ticking....

Don't want.

Also, what's up with this GM search? Why is it taking so long? The draft is almost here!
