The crime rate here in the Philipines was none during the fight, as the crime happened in las Vegas.

This is a shame and a travesty for manny. But this could convince floyd that manny is still beatable. Should be interesting how things unfold after November 10 (tentative rematch).

Pac man gets what he deserves finally he is feeling the same way marquez felt when they stole his fights vs pac man

Ouch :-/ ...

Anyway a definite fix occurred there, that's for sure.

Even the GB has some threads about it.

+100000

marquez won that fight in november. feel no pitty, i didnt watch the fight tonight but he got what he deserve. boxing blows now though ufc taking over....

go magic! did we get cp3 or ellis yet? lol

The difference is Pacquiao actually handled Bradley. Marquez did nothing of the sort to Manny back then. The boxing stats even gave Pac the advantage while the replays showed that the cut on his face came from an accidental headbutt.

Pac won a close and hotly-contested decision but it wasn't 'robbery' by any stretch. Last night however....

You haven't been around for awhile, I heard you and FFBlitz do the board awards. We need to do it, we didn't do it last offseason.

Ah ok. Because of the title being on the line I can see why people would be so upset.

I watched live and have watched every Manny fight since the 90s. This was at worst 9 rounds for Manny. In the 6th the fight was over,Bradley's legs were jelly and Manny was landing a lot of punches and working the uppercut in well. Then he coasted and stop tooksl more rounds. Bradley kept trying to headbutt Manny who did a great job forcing Bradley's head down.
Bradley didn't land anything substantial and hit a lot of arms as most of his punches fell wide.

I heard arum went to console Bradley after the match before the decision was made sand say it was ok he lost and Bradley said he tried his best but Manny was just too fast and good. This is the sort of thing that ruins a legacy. Shameful judging.

Yup, and some other interesting quotes...

"Can you believe that? Unbelievable," Arum said. "I went over to Bradley before the decision and he said, `I tried hard but I couldn't beat the guy.' "

"I've never been as ashamed of the sport of boxing as I am tonight," said Arum, who handles both fighters.

"I'll make a lot of money off the rematch, but this was outrageous," Arum said.

"I thought Tim Bradley put up one helluva fight," Mayweather Sr. told ESPN.com. "But I didn't think he won the fight. "I didn't score the fight. I can just tell you, I knew Pacquiao won. I felt he won the fight. I felt like there was a gap, where you could see who was winning."

When asked if he could even make a case for Bradley winning the fight, Mayweather Sr. said he could not because he's not "a cheater."

Duane Ford (official judge scored 115-113 to Bradley)
"You've got to put the ball in the basket and Manny didn't put the ball in the basket enough. ... This isn't American Idol. If I judge for the people, I shouldn't be a judge. I went in with a clear mind and judged each round. ... I don't look at the punch stats but I saw Manny miss a lot of punches and Bradley hit Manny and win a lot of the exchanges. ... I'm comfortable with my performance. I thought Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson."

RingTV.com: Your thoughts on the decision?

Timothy Bradley: Well I've seen the tape. I won the fight, without a doubt. You could say I won the first round, give or take the second. Lost the third, lost the fourth, lost the fifth, maybe even lost the sixth, you know, give or take

But from seven, eight, nine, 10, 11 and 12, I clearly dominated those rounds, man. I dominated those rounds. I know that I won those rounds.

I mean, this guy was supposed to stop me. He was supposed to knock me out. But I took his best punches, and I fought back hard. You know what I mean?

My corner and I honestly feel that I won the fight. Fair and square. It was not controversial decision or nothing like that. It is what it is, man.

The judges got it right, that's what I feel. There were some close rounds in there that they probably gave to me, because, like I said, I fought every minute of every damn round.

I wouldn't doubt this was fixed in order to bring controversy and excitement back to boxing. Plus, all the money made by the millions who bet on Pacman. Plus, sets up for a good rematch. Either that or Pacman has bought too much into the celebrity status feeling invincible and didn't train as hard as he used to.

I just hope Mayweather would fight Bradley first just to see who does better since we may never see Mayweather fight Pacman.

Lakers stole Shaq, so Magic gave them Dwight!

I thought the Magic fired Otis!

Just change their name to the LA Sterns!

Won't happen. Mayweather is in jail for the next 3 months for domestic abuse, not enough time to train. Plus, Pacman has a rematch clause written into his contract with bradley. They had a November rematch in mind before the fight even started.

I'm starting to think Mayweather is the smartest business man in sports... he's probably deliberately avoiding pacquaio, not because he's afraid to lose, but in order to generate buzz and increase the money that would come in from such a big fight. Wouldn't be shocked if pacquaio was on board with it too and they're just playing a publicity game until the time is right. Both could retire if they fought.

So the line of thought was Pacman should have been able to beat Bradley better than he did, so they just decided to give the match to Bradley because he didn't lose as badly as they expected? WTF?

WBO to review Pacquiao-Bradley title bout

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/wbo-review ... mcyP05nYcB

LAS VEGAS (AP) The WBO says it will review the title fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, which ended with Bradley's controversial split decision win over the Filipino champion.

WBO President Francisco ''Paco'' Valcarcel said in a statement Wednesday that the WBO's championship committee will review video of the match with five ''recognized international judges'' and will make a recommendation.
