Because, like Stan Van Gundy, Sloan is notorious for being a no-nonsense task master. He's not the type to be best buddies with his players and pat them on the head every time they make a basic play, which seems to be what Dwight wants from his coach.
i can see your reasoning, yet i do not agree. i just think the nature of human interaction is not governed such simple straight-forward rules.
Dwight's problems was not about svg's style, it was about Dwight thinking svg's style in particular would not win championships. Very different things.
