Not a bad idea. Maybe I can find the threads for each topic and link it next to the transaction.

For example, I would post these 2 links next to the sign and trade transaction of Gustavo.

Was there a TPE involved in the Ryan Anderson SnT?

I guess we'll find out on the 11th, when everything can become official.

So this is updated. As per MoMM request, there will be link(s) to thread Real Gm threads for the particular transaction.

1 = Real GM Orlando Thread(s)
2 = Real GM General Board Thread

So far I've only done this for the coaching hire, but I'm hoping to update each transaction by the end of the week.

I've updated this thread. I won't put the dwight trade in until it is official.

If I'm missing anything, then please let me know. Right now, I'm waiting for Meer's contract details, Dwight trade to go through and someone to confirm this story:

Carson Ingle ‏@caingle
Per source: #Magic GM Rob Hennigan has hired Shawn McCullion, who coached Hennigan at Emerson as an assistant, to scout east coast colleges

You'll need to add what some are saying is the most one-sided trade of the last 20 years to Hennigan's resume. Hennigan is being mocked and ridiculed on almost all national outlets.

The Lakers get Howard for Bynum? Highway robbery, the Magic should have gotten Bynum, Gasol and Jordan Hill and it still would have been a good trade for the Lakers. The Magic didn't even get to dump Turkoglu's salary? Afflalo and Harrington have worse Contracts than Richardson.

The Magic wind up with 3 average players and 3 late 1st round picks for the best center in the NBA, amazing!?! Added no talent, no premium picks and no additional cap flexibility. Explanation?

Rob Hennigan just made a fading Lakers franchise relevant for the next 7 - 10 years.

Lets see.

Reached for a 2nd round talent in Nicholson.

Signed Meer to $7.5 mil per when no team in the league would have even offered the MLE.

Traded Dwight Howard for a bag of Chips, bologna sammich and a Natty Ice.

Actually thinks the Magic can win sometime in the next decade through the draft when their draft picks are no better than mid to late round picks.

Effectively eliminated any hope or chance of competing for a championship for at LEAST a decade.

Brilliant!

Based on his Summer League performance, Nicholson looks like a solid #19 selection.

That is what they said about Anthony Randolph after he scored 50 points in a Summer League game. Dude still can't get rotation minutes on the leagues worst teams.

So this happened: https://twitter.com/johnhollinger/statu ... 0566684672

"Go easy on Hennigan. Hearing Orl Pres Alex Martins likely ran this one. Always good to have non-bball folks make critical decision."

If that is really the case then this is even more ****

Softening the blow, spread the blame for the ineptitude. A writer does this every time one of these horrible decisions is made, perhaps to gain good graces from the failed organization.

I'm not a fan of either the Lakers or the Magic but it sickens me when a professional sports team gets so fleeced. It will be interesting to see if even one player or pick from the Dwight Howard transaction starts for the Magic in 3 years. I would guess the answer is no.
