Well we have 4 judging votes and then the thread that Willy made.. so if we combine them we can come to a consensus.

I don't really think that there is a good way to decide a winner unless we can find a judge or have more peer rankings submitted. The replies on Wily's general board thread seemed to not have much thought put into them. I guess we could just compile the average scores of the rankings we have, but that would be difficult since you and Wily only did a top 10 and Wily did a separate win now and win future rating.

Maybe we could wait and see if anyone from the Knicks board will do it after their BAT. Also, there was one poster that responded to Wily's inquiry there for judges and said maybe, so we could ask him again.

I still dont get why us judging is a bad thing. I said it was like that from the start and nobody had a problem until recently.

We're the most involved, their should be no "bias" towards voting. I just say we count ours, add it up by points = 10 points for 1st place, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, etc.

May as well do something and get this over w/ and as far as the thread I made on the Gen Board, who cares if they didn't do a whole write up, I posed a question and guys were cool enough to respond and the fact is we got more replies from there, from peeps who don't give a good u know what about this build a team, yet the ones who supposedly did have gone ghost, long before the pimp thread.

Another thing that was stated was there would be 3 judges, Skin, eyriq and someone else and while eyriq does have a horse in this race, he hasn't even responded either not to mention no word from anyone else.

We just allowed for too much time between the end of the draft and the final decision. I like how the Knicks do the judging...if you participate, you have to judge. Otherwise, you can't win.

Might be time to just call this one and consider it a test run.

Start a new one, but before it even begins, cast the rules in stone and make them non-negotiable once the draft starts.

I mean most of the fun of it anyway is the whole draft process. Being a "winner" doesnt really mean much. We all know who the top 4-5 were so I mean, thats pretty much the whole point of the thing.

I did say the whole "you're in this, you judge" but I guess I was too lenient with people because so many people wanted diff things - when to start the judging, who should judge, etc. I just need to be firm with that stuff.

Fun regardless!

As long as we're friends, everybody wins!

Except those that don't. If you're not first, you're last.

I'll be starting a new oNe as soon as the Knicks board is done. Already have everything outlined nicely.

Apparently we did we considering it was our first...guys on the Knicks board are surprised we got as far as wr did.

I have the outline for an "all-time" b-a-t ready to go...I'll start it up here once the knicks b-a-t finishes. You'll be able to draft any all star since 1970.

Isn't it time for us to start preparation for our RealGM Orlando Board fantasy leagues?

Sorry for the re-hash. Just wanted to point out how absolutely dominant my team would have been.

C - T. Duncan/ A. Drummond/K. Thomas
PF - JJ. Hickson/A. Randolph/ B. Wallace
SF - G. Wallace/ J. Salmons/Q. Pondexter
SG - J. Harden/A. Burks/S. Livingston
PG - J. Lin/ J. Fredette/ M. Bibby

Head Coach: Flip Saunders

Lin is much weaker than I expected, but I suspect another coach might be able to get more out of him, particularly getting him back to running more p&r's.

Anyway, Drummond is looking like the real deal. Hickson has just been gobbling up rebounds and scoring off putbacks. Wallace is still a gritty defender. Duncan is Duncan. And, Harden has shown he can carry a team.

I proclaim myself winner. :D
