New mock draft have Cavs selecting Brandon Paul in the 2nd round. That could be our pick if Otis hadn't given it away.

we own GSW 2nd though.
I think our optimal situation has us taking a perimeter scoring type and a pg

Hopefully we can acquire another first Burke/Goodwin/Smart/MCW/McLemore/Bazz/Young would all be good chances for us to take

Noel is a total wildcard, he's either gonna be a total bust or be very good he fills the stat sheet, 11 pts, 10 boards, 3.5 blocks 3 steals 2 assists those are great numbers for an NBA player even if that's all he is

I don't like tony mitchell at all, all the negatives in that video point to something the magic will NOT touch, he seems like another Javale McGee, but Javale atleast tries most of the time

Andrew Harrison is my 2nd favorite player for 2014 after Wiggins, he's a DRose clone

Most mocks have him going in the second right now. I think depending on how he fares in conference play he could shoot up to latter half of the first round.

All I know is he would look nice in the Vaughn offense because he is a good scorer and has shown to be a decent distributor playing PG this season, Paul coming off of that elbow screen and making the read to pass or score is something I would like to see on the Magic. Paul reminds me a bit of JJ (in his more recent years), except Paul is longer and more athletic (making him a better defender and better at drawing FTs).

I'm pretty pleased with us having a couple of 1st round picks in 2014. That will be a deep draft.

I'm not blown away by their highlight films (Harrison twins seem slow) but I haven't seen them in actual games to form a real opinion.

2014 first-round pick from the Denver Nuggets: The Nuggets have two first-round picks in 2014, their own pick and a pick from the New York Knicks. The Magic will receive the less favorable of the two picks.

+

our own pick (hopefully top-5)

+

whatever we trade for at the deadline.

Shabazz Muhammad is down to 222 pounds after debuting at around 235 pounds against Georgetown.

"It definitely impacted my athletic ability, and everyone could see that I wasn't that athletic," Muhammad said of the extra weight. "Today in practice, I was just so explosive. I could feel it."

Muhammad is adjusting to the responsibility of monitoring what he eats and has switched to a diet of mostly salads and water.

"It's completely new," Muhammad said. "Ever since I've been on my own in college, you can eat whatever you want. I think that's just a maturity thing. ... It's really taken me a long way."

Muhammad was averaging 16 points and five rebounds per game, despite his limited athleticism.

"You can see it in him compared to three weeks ago," Bruins coach Ben Howland said. "He's in better physical condition. You can see his body; he's lost a few pounds."
