As long as it is not someone that ends up being like Darko, Kwame or Thabeet, then I would be happy. There are no guarantees that players drafted become stars. That is why it is called a Lottery.

2013 NBA Draft: Top 10 Point Guard Prospects

Orlando looks to draft from 7-10, and that is quite above the depth expected for any PG or combo guard. The coming draft is seen as weak at the PG/combo-guard level.

..

7-10? Only Detroit is worse than the Magic.

Always draft BPA. But hopefully it's a center with defensive tenacity or a point guard with potential.

Damian Lillard gives me hope. He wasn't on anyone's radar until late last season and then proved himself in workouts and the combine. He's showing he has what it takes to be a great point guard. It doesn't seem like a strong draft at the moment, but I hope a few gems emerge by the end of the season.

Reason why i say Guard is because that's what the league is now and going into the future. It's a guards league and with Nelson on the wrong side of 30 constantly injured i wouldn't mind having some piece of mind at the PG position. IDK maybe it's just me but i value the PG position very highly because i can't think of a contender in the NBA that doesn't have at least an above average PG. I'm also eyeing C.J. McCollum and i'm seeing the Damian Lillard comparison in that he is in a small school but he is balling having just dropped 36 on Baylor i believe. He will probably go lottery and i hope we're scouting him just in case. Those who don't know look him up and i doubt you won't be impressed even with the fact he's playing at a small school but look at Lillard who came from Weber State

This is incorrect.

The teams with a worse record than Orlando are, Cleveland, Portland, Sacramento, Toronto, Washington, and Detroit.

BPA!

We can speculate on names all we want but we will know nothing until those ping pong balls pop.

That is going to be one fun aspect of this rebuild.

Remember, The Magic do have extra picks in future years or could use cap space to net some more picks and Hennigan has signaled that this will be the way The Magic are built.

And the Lakers aren't gonna make the playoffs either

The Magic will be in the mix for a Top 3 pick at the end of the year, we're absolutely terrible

True. If Dwight or Kobe goes down with injury, the Lakers are done and Magic get a top 20 pick.

You guys really need to take the Pat Williams factor into effect and be wise to stop predicting where we'll actually pick until the draft lottery (if we don't make the playofs) is completed and we know.

Shabazz Muhammad. He can be a star swingman, something the Magic haven't had since TMac. Use our mid-round picks on big bodies and role players if we need them

Zeller and Nerlens Noel just don't cut it for me - they have "role player" written all over them.

My statement was not about an opinion to the future. My statement was, "The teams with a worse record than Orlando are, Cleveland, Portland, Sacramento, Toronto, Washington, and Detroit." This is factually true as written. And it is not a statement of conjecture.

Tony Mitchell. You heard it here first.

In this league if you want to be near the top, you need a SF who can straight ball with the likes of Lebron and Durant. Mitchell is a bad ass and he has the power, frame, athleticism, handle and aggressiveness to match them. I hear the cries for Wiggins in 2014, but that's a really big pipe dream.

Tony Mitchell! Tony Mitchell! Tony Mitchell!

Harkless can give us good depth. Mitchell will be a Super Star.

It will come down to BPA...and if two guys are close, then management will take a look at needs.

We have a lot of good young talent right now...it is very raw, but it is still there. The NBA season is very long...we will have a completely different opinion of the players on the roster come March. A lot of them will probably be different as well.

As many have said though...we have no stars. At the end of the day, it will be BPA.

Best player available, obviously. Who will that wind up being? No clue right now.
