I know we're in transition this season and amid a 5 game losing skid. It's Friday ppl! Can we at least beat the 1-8 Pistons? It would be good for moral purposes.

Great thread SD. May have to change your starting lineup for the Magic though as it is looking like we are getting Meer back tonight...

Nelson, a co-captain along with Glen ``Big Baby’’ Davis, practiced Monday, Wednesday and Thursday will no ill-effects and went through shooting drills with the team on Friday morning. If there is no lingering pain, Nelson will return to the starting lineup and E’Twaun Moore will go back to a reserve role.

``I feel pretty good and I’m starting to get there,’’ Nelson said Friday morning. ``I’ve just got to keep progressing and get my conditioning better. And keep healing right.’’

As for tonight's game, we need to push the pace on this team, play smart, and share the basketball. As long as we do those things, we will always give ourselves a chance to win...LET'S GET IT!!! 8-)

Now this should give us hope!

Only kidding. This is a game we can/should win, unless Monroe goes off again. I don't see that happening, I think between Niko, BBD, McBob and Ayon of all people they should be able to contain him. He destroyed Philly but they really have nothing in the middle with Bynum sitting on the sideline. We've got pretty good depth, especially if a two day rest can have us playing with good energy tonight.

All 5 of our losses have been to playoff teams. We've got Detroit, then Toronto, then I believe Atlanta on the road, before we come back home for Detroit again. Win 3 of 4 and we're 5-6 in good shape.

Thats the type of post i've been hoping to see for the past couple games now lol. A good reason for our recent struggles, and some hopeful news.

Normally, quotes like these don't end well but I don't think I've seen a worse team then the Piston so far. They have been beyond awful. They almost seem disinterested out there.

I think we will get the win today, but it will be a hard fought game.

Maxiell will make at least two jumpers tonight. Any other time I've watched them over the years, he doesn't even take them, let alone make them.

*waits for Pistons fans to come storming in, pointing out my foolishness by the fact that he's actually a great jumpshooter*

I think we would have won a couple of the past games with Meer. I expect a win.

Can`t stand Detroit. They've had our number, and with how poorly they've started I can see them rolling us.

A couple? Nah, maybe one. 21-8 (72% winning percentage) is the combined record of our last 5 opponents (really 4 since we played BKN twice). Jameer isn't that good.
