Looks like Dwight is wanting to play with Josh Smith again. So funny because we went through this and so many RealGM pages for Josh Smith rumors. Will be interesting if the Lakers are actually able to get him, since Josh Smith is a free agent this summer. And Lakers don't want to give up Gasol. So who do they want to trade for Josh Smith? Steve Blake and Earl Clark for Josh? hahah.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had internal discussions for several months about acquiring Josh Smith from the Atlanta Hawks, according to sources.

Sources say, however, that the Hawks have no interest in trading Smith for a package centered around Pau Gasol.

Smith is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.

For the Lakers, trading Gasol for Smith would allow the team to get younger and more athletic. Moreover, Smith is one of Dwight Howard's closest friends in the NBA.

Watch houston help the Lakers get Smith for Gasol just to pair Harden with a top pf. although Gasol next to Asik would not be that bad. I think the Lakers are better with Gasol than Smith so I say let them have him, Smith and Howard are both terrible on offense so when Kobe and Nash are gone in a year or two they would not really be that good

Because dwight is a child, and like most younger people want the easy way out . He wants to form a super team like in 2k13how I miss the era when players wanted to play against the best....
