I agree. I suspect McRoberts might surprise people. He's averaging 3.5 points/ rebounds in fifteen minutes, and when he's in he has generally been charged with banging inside on defense.

The other thing about losing BBD is Harkless and his lack of offensive skills at the moment. Its easy to say we have plenty of scorers, but you can't play two guys who don't score and expect to win consistently. If Moe stays in there, I suspect we start Nicholson to keep the scoring distributed.

I'm not sure Ayon slides to the 4 simply because he's gotten most of the time as backup center to Nik.

If only he could finish alley-oops again ...

I bet McBob starts.
I have no problems with his play at PF, he's just not a good SF.
He will get lots of rebounds.

JV likes to shelter Nicholson's minutes and give him good matchups, I don't see JV starting 2 rookies.

Hedo would be an interesting option at the 4, hopefully Vucevic can step up, he's about to get ALOT more touches

McRob has hops, some handles and started many games for the Lakers logging over 30 minutes a few times last season effectively. So, I am interested to see what kind of rythmn he gets when given extended minutes with the Magic. Could help his trade value down the road too. Same with Ayon.

At least Team Chemistry at this point is at a season high of which can only help when someone important is out.

Lakers stole Shaq, so Magic gave them Dwight!

I thought the Magic fired Otis!

Just change their name to the LA Sterns!

Talk about a double whammy to a teams defense. Lose Glen Davis and add Hedo Turkoglu.

Man I hope it's not too serious. This team is starting to play so well. Can't see the McRoberts hate. Hes turning out to be a very good bench player and we're not likely trading for a star. As far as draft picks, how many even turn out to be serviceable. I like how we were coming along.

I expect Nicholson to still come off the bench as the 2nd unit needs his scoring, but who knows.

Really don't mind if Nicholson or McRoberts starts. Both should see increased playing time. It'll give Nicholson good experience and boost the trade value of McRoberts. McRoberts hasn't annoyed me like he once did in the first 2 weeks of the season. I've actually enjoyed his game when he's playing the 4.

An MRI "showed no significant structural damage" to Glen Davis' left shoulder, Magic GM Rob Hennigan said.

Good.

In a statement, Hennigan said Davis "will be treated non-operatively" and that the muscles around the shoulder will be strengthened.

That's relatively good news.

Whew! Our guys have been building some really good chemistry together, really didn't wan't to see the absence of such a main factor on the team disrupting that at all.

Yeah, I still want a concrete timetable (if it's even possible with these injuries), but this is definitely positive.

Shoulder sprain? Can't recall the last time I've heard of a player getting such an injury... how long does something like that take to heal? Is it like an ankle sprain?
