Redick is going no where.book it. Its beyond basketball.

This community has been through much abuse and betrayal over the last year. You dont think they will fight to keep our most valuable player that WANTS to retire here.

Wishful thinking, for better or worse. This team's basketball decisions will be basketball decisions. That our 6th man is one of the more popular players on the team will not stop Hennigan from trading him if an attractive offer comes in. We already have our starting SG, and he's signed to a fairly big, long-term contract.

Would a package of Jordan hamilton, and a 2013 first from denver interest orlando for redick? Denver needs his shooting worse than anyone.

Denver cannot trade it's 2013 pick. Denver owes ORL it's 2014 pick or NYK's 2014 pick, whichever is worse. Because there is a possibility that DEN's 2014 pick will be worse, the CBA rule preventing a team from trading its first round pick two years in a row kicks in.

We would need your 2014 pick and then some but we already have that most likely

The earliest DEN 1st round pick we can trade for at this time is 2016.

would anyone consider a Wilson Chandler for Redick swap? Chandler played very well when given burn, but seems to have fallen behind Gallinari. He can play SG and SF, is locked in at $6mil+ over the next 3 years, and he is only 25.

Why would Orlando trade Jonathan for a career back-up SF?

..

He was a starter in NY for 3 years. He can legitimately play both wing positions, is a good (not great but good) defender.

Or since you are wanting to go that way. Why wouldnt Orlando trade a career backup SG for a starting SF?

Because JJ is a carrer backup SG and we need a SF?

I Hear Orlando is interested in Rudy Gay...why not make a deal and get Iggy from Denver

Redick/Davis for Iggy.

He is a better overall player that can help us out defensively, and has a shorter contract than Gay.

IMO Henny has to have a plan in my to want to acquire. a Rudy Gay type. talent,

That's cute.

He will be 29 this summer and this could be his last big contract. He will be looking to get paid in the best situation possible. I wish it could be here, but he deserves his payday and i would understand if he leaves.

Good point but neither of them has all star potential like Iggy an d. Davis trade value has dropped since the injury

I don't think that's right. Denver will have a 2014 draftpick, it does not matter if it's their own pick or someone elses. So yeah in that case they could still trade this years pick!

i would certainly trade for W.Chandler. dude is the exact kind of player that can only raise his value (and he's shown flashes of performing at a much higher level than what he is paid).

Wow, you are right Holland. I learned something new today!
Teams are required to have only a first round pick, and not necessarily their own first round pick. Teams may trade away their own future picks in consecutive years if they have another team's first round pick in one of those years.
