Harkless=DNP/CD, McRoberts=Plays 4th Q

This is ridiculous.
JV's love affair with Josh McRoberts is one of the dumbest things i've seen from a coach for this team.

Teams respect McRoberts so much they leave him WIDE OPEN on defense. "GO AHEAD JOSH, SHOOT YOUR LINE DRIVE 3'S" They said, McRoberts says "OK" they said, McRoberts bricks, we see.

Meanwhile a player who is supposed to be a major part of our future rots on the bench, while a player with no future with us gets all these important minutes, when Mo Harkless can be learning from these things by being in the situations himself.

Bottom line, i'd rather see Harkless try, and fail, than see McRoberts try and fail. JV love affair with guys like Ayon and McBob is getting out of control, is this what Henny had in mind?

I get you, but we've seen time and time again that Harkless is not a shooting threat, he just isn't. Once his jump shot can become more consistent I'm sure he'll be a solid rotation player on this team.

I don't like this trend any more than you do, but we have no idea what's going on in practice. If Moe had earned minutes, I'm sure he'd be getting them. I think it has a lot less to do with Jacque loving McRibberts than it does some combination of Jacque wanting to play his most NBA ready guys, Hennigan advising Jacque to play specific veterans, and McRibs straight-up outworking Harkless at times in practice. Harkless will learn--he's one of the very youngest players in the league (and competitive at that--Google Harkless and Ledo). There is no denying that Harkless has looked overwhelmed or tentative at times, and as he adjusts to the league (and after Feb 15 especially), I have no doubt the NBA minutes will come.

Harkless played a role in shutting Henderson down on Dec. 15th. Maurice's defense could have been used.

You're overreacting. Harkless will have his time when he proves he's ready. You can't just hand it to him because he's supposedly going to be a "big part" of our future. DQJ took his spot by outplaying him in practice. Harkless has work to do.

You don't go from starting to DNP-CD because a coach has favorites. Like others said, there's a lot we don't see that determines a young player's playing time.

I am sorry. I watch the games and see both play. Right now McBob >>> Harkless. McBob gives the team a better chance to win and plays a better "All-Around" game. Magic have one month to trade McBob before the trade deadline. I say play McBob 40mpg until the trade Deadline. Then, worry about Harkless once the Magic are out of playoff contention.

There's no denying McRob looks more comfortable out there.. although, where that comes from I have no idea, because he sucks.

McRoberts and DQJ have been playing better than Moe. I think it's as simple as that. Moe will get his time to shine in the future, hopefully.

Harkless is only 19 years old - he was born on 93. Calm down, he will get his chance to play soon.
