Bowl day.
I decided not to go...and will be cooking a brisket and tailgate in the garage.

I hope everyone planning to attend the game in St Pete left a long time ago.
I-4 has pockets of back ups all the way there and is backed up all the way through tampa.
Might be a three hour drive today.

Bowl game = blah
Both lines terribly outplayed, too many drops by WR's, Brissett played very well, Holman note so well.
Still a good year and good things coming for next year.

When the demolish the trop we need to buy their scoreboard. The only part of that venue I was envious about. Otherwise, horrible venue for football.

Just saw that Tyson Summers was leaving for Colorado State...that stings a bit.

Yeah, from a recruiting point of view I don't like it at all. George plays a heavy influence on our defense so I'm not "worried" from a game standpoint. He's been coaching so long I don't think finding a replacement will be hard to do.

Re: UCF Football- AAC Champs
The CSU job is partly of convenience and timing.
CSU has recruited heavily in the orlando area for the past 5 years and continues to do so.
Summers did well during his short stint here.

Rumor on the ucf rivals board is that Taafe and Barrett may also be leaving for other jobs.

Not sure about that one. Charlie might be retiring and Barrett is a new rumor.

The Barrett one is obviously new. There was no Summers rumor. It just happened.

That game at michigan doesn't look as appealing now that they have a real coach again.

Two buzzer beaters for Godwin ... Great game other than dj's terrible offensive strategy of little to no ball movement.

Re: UCF Football- AAC Champs
Charlie Taaffe is retiring and there's a huge shakeup in the coaching responsibilities. Mostly just people shifting around, but a few new guys, including defensive coordinator Chuck Bresnahan (former USF DC), who will also coach linebackers.

Also Breshad Perriman has decided to enter the NFL draft. Apparently his dad (former pro) has heard good things from his contacts in the league. Knowing Perriman he'll probably put up impressive numbers at the combine and increase his stock. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go in the 2nd or 3rd round. Also wouldn't be surprised if he slid though, it's a pretty deep WR crop from what I've heard.

Re: UCF Football- AAC Champs
Not sure I like bringing in the USF guy, and I'm worried about lack of recruiters.
Breshad at worst is a 3rd round pick right now.
Donnie Jones still can't coach.

-Not that it matters but the press still has not officially released Perriman's NFL grade at-large...
Tony Pauline of rotoworld they did report that Perriman was not a day 1 or 2 pick. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpages/playerbreakingnews.asp?sport=CFB&id=132763&line=38092&spln=1
-I don't like bringing in a USF guy either.....but Travis Fisher was officially hired to be a DB coach and will recruit hard for us.
-Donnie Jones still can't coach is true.
