What's the first impression of Evan you guys had?

Especially his defense, 3 ball and his passing/ creating?

Thanks

It's hard to tell because I haven't taken my eyes off Elfrid Payton.

Evan has hit some big 3s and seems willing to try to create and get to the line, but nothing has blown me away yet. He looks a little lost on defense so far, maybe learning the new system. I preferred his on-ball defense during the FIBA championships this year. If he can bring that back I'll be very happy. The offense can come later.

Most of the board had him pegged to start with Oladipo in the backcourt. I think most of us are leaning toward Elfrid starting instead now, hopefully with Evan providing a spark off the bench. We'll see.

he is good just needs to make more shots. Sometimes he takes bad shots but this guy has obvious talent.

I've been a little disappointed in his playmaking and shooting. He has done some good things. Being able to get to the rim some and also the FT line.

Why? They both prefer to dribble around with the ball, Its more of a clash if anything. What makes you say that?
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

Personally, I thought Fournier would be more of a shooter than he's shown. Perhaps it's because he's place into rotations where he's mostly responsible for the offense, and so takes it to the rack more often, but I'd like to see EP drive and kick to Fournier more often. I've seen a couple of stand-still 3-point shots by Fournier that were beautiful.

I'm a fan of Evan and looking forward to watching more of him play. You can tell he's still young, but he "FITS" better than Afflalo. He does take some bad shots, but i see that getting better with more time in the system. He gives good effort on defense and appreciate his style of play.

3rd year player playing for his 3rd head coach. With some stability over the next couple years, he'll flourish in Orlando. He's a big part of the puzzle in my eyes.

I didn't realize he had a PER around 10 last year. Yikes. That didn't come up after the trade hype. I love the promise in this team, but not every young guy will take the big steps we're hoping for. We'll have to see who shakes out.

it would definitely surprise me. Green was signed for the minimum and was never more than an 11th 12th man anyway.

LOL..Wut?!
