Not liking what's being reported to get him. Giving up a first to move up two picks , ouch!

So is it just Saric for Payton straight up, or are we throwing in a little extra?

Sixers may have picked him so Denver would't get him.

Seems there are conflicting reports. If it's a second round pick that's entirely different.

We're giving back the 1st rounder to them from the Dwight trade

Team is coming to formation and you gotta like that. Hope the kid can develop some range.

The main thing I like here is that it will allow Oladipo to focus on becoming an all-star SG.

I also don't view Gordon as a tweener but as a full-on defensive PF, so that works next to Vuc, for sure.

Oh and I love Payton as a prospect so the draft has been salvaged somewhat now (although still not super-duper excited).

All things said, Henny must have seen more in a combo of Gordon + Payton than he would have got from Exum + Saric/Payne. I can live with that.

we've now got a team that's high energy, athletic as hell, tenacious on defense.

Harris and Dipo are going to be our go-to scorers next season (Payton may surprise, too). If Vaughn can get Vuc more comfortable in the post, he might too.

I'm just hoping that Payton can develop a 3pt shot, and that Dipo can return to a high % outside shooter, too.

I'm putting my faith in Hennigan here but man, that offense will be equal parts exciting and ugly. Maybe more of the latter. That team will be running a lot and putting together some nice highlights but not having a single guy who can shoot is bad news.

All our players topped out in potential end up in
Payton - Rondo
Oladipo - Wade
Harris - Melo
Gordon - Griffin
Vucevic - Vucevic
