Bianchi: Dwight will "Come Home" to Orlando !

Post#1 » by orthoman » Sun Jul 13, 2014 3:32 pm

Mike Bianchi says Dwight will exercise his FA right in two years and predicts Howard will return home to Orlando. :o

My question to the forum is this: In two years, could you all see us needing someone like Howard's skill set
and see us making overtures to him to get him to resign with the Magic?

How does everyone feel about this possibility?

He can stay away from this franchise. We are better off without that clown.

We made the final and compete about every years with him. Been the worst team in the league since he left, yup, we're better off alright.

Once Lebron came back home how did I know Bianchi was going to write this article.

This isn't home for Dwight. He burned his bridges with the team and the city. He really has no ties to Orlando other than he worked here for 9 years. He's not a Lebron type of player that any team he is on is basically an automatic conference finals team. I just don't see anyway that immature Dwight Howard could admit he was wrong and come back to Orlando without a championship in Houston.

Assuming we have cap room in 2016 (If we don't get Lebron in summer 2015 sweepstakes) Dwight and KD will be top targets!

If LeBron can do it, so can Dwight! ^^

Really it comes down to, once Dwight realize that it takes a team of 15 players to win unlike the situation he had in LA and Houston he is going to want to come to Orlando!

Not sure If he would be the role model type player we would want for the young players. Plus you're not only signing him you're signing his group that follows him around.

You can argue that Vucevic could be the better center in comparison to Dwight in 2 years...

Home for dwight would be Atlanta wouldn't it? and depending on how that team (or ours) looks I guess I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him leaving, but I think he stays a red rocket.

Yep! It'd be one thing had Atlanta drafted him and he left. Or if he left in FA. But he basically hijacked the team to get out. Plus, while he might have been good enough at one point, he's no where near good enough to single handedly make any team a contender anymore. He's certainly not Lebron.
