pinson is going to play the 2 most of the time, jackson and tokoto will be the SF.

looney is going to play 100% PF at UCLA this season too.

Looney isn't that slow. Sorry but Chad Ford and the scouts he talks too disagree. As to where those two guys play you don't know that. Only the coaching staffs at those schools know really where they will play. And as a huge North Carolina fan Jackson can play SG just as well as Pinson. Pinson can also play SF where he will see some time as well. Sorry but you are stating your opinion and I think you need to go and get some more info on these guys and understand that you don't know where they will end up getting minutes.

Jeff Goodman of ESPN picks Kelly Oubre at #5 to Orlando in his first mock draft.

Analysis: Magic GM Rob Hennigan has loaded up on high-level athletes and Oubre would fit right in with those guys. He's long, athletic and is also a decent shooter. Just imagine a lineup of Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, Aaron Gordon and Oubre. It will be interesting to see how much Oubre produces at Kansas this season, but he's a guy who already is high on NBA draft boards.

Thoughts?

We have a lot of great wing defenders and all around athletes. So in my opinion, what we need next is an all around scorer or a defensive anchor in the paint.

If the Magic are bad enough to pick 5th again, this will be very very very disappointing. I may as well quit watching Magic basketball for a year or two . . .

No way I want a Top 5 pick again. I'd rather we be in the 10-15 range so that magic can lure some FA 2015

I struggled with this thought as well and my opinions change daily as to how many games we will win. Right now i feel like another top pick is in our grasp because we are just too young.

We could always do it cleveland style and win about 32 games and end up with the first pick.

If the Magic are one of the 5 worst teams in the league again, then Vaugh is the worst coach in the entire NBA and Henny is not a good GM.

I would much rather end up with a top 3 pick due to us winning the lottery while we finish in the 8-14 worst records area. Kind of like the luck that Cleveland got this year. And we can still attract a free agent even if we end up in the top 5 worst records. And maybe next offseason isn't the ideal time for adding a free agent and it is even possible that this team doesn't need a free agent. I do not have high expectations for this team. This team is just one big question mark for me. We shall see what happens but I wouldn't be really disappointed if we finish in the bottom 6.

I like Stanley Johnson in the first round and Andrew Harrison(could be a nice back up to Payton) in the 2nd round.

With Orlando in a playoff position, it is interesting to see the prospects around 15-18. Clearly at that slot Mr. BPA is the guy GM Hennigan will tab. But positionally, a back-up PG makes sense. Isaiah Taylor of Texas could be worth a close look. He is a tall but lanky kid with good reach. He just broke his wrist, so that needs attention.
