Harkless offensively reminds me of a young Rashard Lewis. Lewis made his biggest jump in his 3rd season where he raised his 3pt % 100 pts and his FT% 140 pts.

Harkless has the potential to be one of the best 3pt shooters in the league.

Oh I am excited about the fast pace of this team. Not only defensively but also it's explosive offensive attacks and three point bombs. We will be definitely top 10 in both defense and offense if they can put it all together this year.

Defense wins Championships. We have the makings of something special now we just need to add several key ingredients along the way.

Perimeter defense will suffocate opponent's offense ala '04 PISTONS.

We ALL want to see that lineup, and the fact that you and I both know it will rarely happen is probably going to be my biggest JV beef this season. While I don't think Payton and AG need to start, I'd love to see at least 10 mpg of that lineup.

Guys, that's our 50 win roster in 2 years from now when Aaron Gordon is playing like a man!

No doubt that will be a goto lineup in late game situations if we need a stop.

Long term we currently expect a 2016/17 starting roster of Payton/Oladipo/Harris/Gordon/Vučević.

At that time Payton and Oladipo would be expected to be the best guard defenders in the league. Harris and Vučević should upgrade to capable team defenders with far-above-average defensive rebounding skills. And Gordon should be an elite rim protector. Together this is a projected defensive unit that is cohesive and lethal. Even better, after the defensive stop, it should be an awesome fast-break team on the counter attack.

Aside from watching a true PG after so many years, the perimeter defense is the thing I'm most excited about seeing. Can't wait.
