I thought that was only used when the Magic made the playoffs. Maybe I'm wrong. It's been so long since the Magic have been in the playoffs.

The truly sad thing is that someone or people actually got paid to come up with that.

I still don't understand why we need a "motto" for the season.

Sounds like a specific recreational drug that one would use during Weekends... I'm all for it...

Nothing is "cool" anymore. Every phrase can be twisted. So with that said, I can accept the motto. Not bad.

I find the MAG_C advertisement strategy particularly ridiculous in this sense. The Magic will send out hords of interns all over Orlando with that stupid sign to try to start this year's planking (for Sport). You just know that Magic.com is going to upload photos of fans being the I in all kinds of ludicrous posses. Why can't Sports teams be more about "playing their sport"???

Is this a serious comment? Do you want the marketing people to either (a) try to describe the game in their ads (LOL) or (b) start helping the coaches out?

You seem to forget that in America, most fans are not going to the games because of the sport. They're there because it's a social event. Finding more of those people is the job of the marketing department. They don't have to worry about actual basketball fans; those people are already interested in the game itself.

I think we should do our own campaign and get fans doing ludicrous poses with a large fake penis instead of the "I". Pure Mag!c! Now, that would be hilarious.

I don't mind Pure Magic.
Kind of points to this really being our GMs team, having shipped off AA and Nelson.

I'd like to see a big top hat with the young guy's heads popping out, with Rob as the Magician and Vaughn in the Assistants dress.... :D

With the youth of this team it does seem as if a Purity pledge was taken.
