Justice WInslow gives me more of the MKG vibe, but I can see it with Johnson too.

Winslow is having a monster game right now. Also, unlike MKG, his jumpshot isn't broken, while MKG's was beyond repair at UK, but as far as defense and motor goes, the comparisons to MKG hold up nicely.

Winslow and Johnson have good looking jump shots while also each providing something different to the game. I wouldn't mind either at the fifth position.

Yep. Both are much better 3 point shooters than MKG was at Kentucky.

MKG-13/51, 25%
Winslow-43/104, 41%
Johnson-43/115, 37%

Btw, by way of comparison, Oladipo took the most 3s his junior year at Indy, 68, making 30 at a 44% clip. Aaron Gordon took 45, making 16 at a 36% rate. Kawhi Leonard made 25/86, 29% his sophomore year. His freshman year, Paul George went 63/141, 45%. Tobias went 23/76, 30% his only college year.

I actually mentioned him in this thread and have him slightly ahead of Johnson imo, although its more of a wash. But yeah Winslow is going to be a hell of a defender and imo a more polished shooter than Johnson.

I don't think WCS is a top 5 pick and I don't think we should reach for him just because we need a PF. Also, I also like Justise Winslow over Stanley Johnson but it's closer to a wash, I also don't think Stanley is limited offensively. Im pretty sure the knock on him was his release which was a little flat but the dude can score.

Yeah, I figured a few people were talking about him, just not as much as the other guys. Ill admit, he only recently came on my radar. The more I see him, the more he grows on me.

I would love it if we drafted him, had a lineup of Elf-VO-Winslow-Gordon-Vuc, and hired a defensive coach to let the 1-4 positions just reek havoc on other teams.

Winslow has overtaken Johnson in NBAdraft.net's mock draft. I cannot see Orlando keeping Winslow if drafted.

And so he has.

NBAdraft still has Robert Upsha as Orlando's second pick. I still think this make a great deal of sense. He has a 1st-round talent for his game, and low in the 2nd round, there is no risk for the other stuff. If he makes the team, Orlando has a steal. If not, there was nothing lost.

lol. Nice. I'd be fine with either but Winslow gets the edge on my meaningless board being a better 3pt shooter.

Johnson is getting worked right now by Dekker, who's playing himself into the lottery.

Winslow I would also avoid like the plague for the sole fact that he's a Dukie and Dukie's are notorious underachievers in the pros. I think they're cursed personally lol.

Winslow would be a phenomenal fit next to oladipo and payton. He's already a lockdown defender, has an nba body, plays with a motor, athletic, can shoot the ball, and has a high basketball IQ.

Decker is also a very interesting prospect at 6"9 with his ability to shoot, handle the ball, and pass. Kind of reminds me of a cross between chandler parsons and Turk in his prime

After the Wisconsin game i must say that beside of winslow and porzingis ,dekker and kaminsky are also very interesting options for the draft.I hope that henny can make a trade for another first round pick. That would be great.

Man....there is just so many prospects that i like, i sound like a broken record but i feel like whoever we pick we can't lose. One thing i will say though is Winslow's stock on my board is rising, he's above Johnson now for me. Would fit right into the defensive/athletic culture we're going for, though i will say though Hezonja fits into that as well, plus he has an Alpha dog mentality albeit that might be a gift and a curse.

Will be fun hearing about Hezonja, Johnson, Winslow going head to head in draft workouts. Kind of like Payton, Exum, Smart last year.

Notre Dame is a bad defensive team, but Towns is unstoppable tonight.

This kid is a very good player on both ends of the floor.

He's good but man he needs to stop dribbling so much. His hero ball toward the end really hurt them and probably lost them the game.

Bad game plan then. That wasn't what was working for them. Oh well...
