I hope that didn't hurt Elfrid's confidence at the line. :)

My gosh, Orlando won. You are only allowed positive stories. Happy thoughts!

Three plays I loved:

1) Vučević assists on a Payton FG. That's awesome.

2 and 3) 4th quarter jumpers by Payton. This is the NBA. Guard your man. Payton made the defense pay the price by not guarding him. That is how players earn playing times. This is a shooter's league and Payton made his shots.

Haha that one post that said "I may just Charles manson a family tonight"

I love it when our team drives other teams fans to attempted murder

Also I love that fournier irritates the fan base with his hair, seems to happen alot

BG in, now we're going to get humbled

Fourniers hair is pissing me off

Fourniers beard is worse than his hair.

Great half. Please God don't let us screw this game up.

Very solid overall game for the Hornets. Now just need to finish the Magic off.

Ok. Lets not **** this game up God dammit or I will flip the hell out on here.

we've been humbled

A 23 point lead cut to 10. Dear God, the Magic cannot come back to win this one. It just cannot happen.

Fournier has absolutely roasted Henderson tonight. My Lord.

Payton has some great vision

BG made Neal look like a fool

we really suck

This **** team is beginning to cause me some health issues.

Wow. We are gonna loose to Orlando lmfao. Why am I still surprised????

remember when we were winning by like 20? well its down to 2

Jesus! What the hell is wrong with these guys?!?

Play some damn defense on Payton Kemba God dammit. Jesus Christ.

Payton is swishing jumpers on us now WTF

Payton is the worst shooting PG in the league and hes 7/11 for 16 pts. Most of it in the second half. This is pathetic.

I might put a few holes in my wall if we lose this

prepare the suicide watch.

I honestly find myself becoming physically ill.

Payton continues to take Kemba off the dribble with ease.

WTF!!!!!!!!!! just let Green get that rebound from no where

Does the guy with the effed up hair make 12 million a year?

Game over? lmao

Al Jefferson gets striped, jogs back like it's the second quarter.

Lol. This team is pathetic.

I am done watching Hornets basketball for a while.

I'm done with Al Jefferson. He's such a fake empty stats guy. We should have traded him while his value is high.

No way around it, this loss is damaging on so many levels to every aspect of the organization.

What the hell happened.

Man do I hate watching this team...we don't do anything well

Wow, I'm super embarrassed I though this team was gonna win 50 games. Well atleast I knew signing Al was a mistake

I may just Charles Manson a family tonight. Im not even kidding. My **** God

I HATE Cody Zeller.

Fire Coach Clifford and all of the problems will be solved

The **** idiot put MARVIN WILLIAMS AT THE 5?????????????????? Mike Dantoni wouldn't even do that.

We also should really consider trading Lance for Mcbob or at least sitting him.

I always find ways to be optimistic about this team, but I'm out of excuses. We **** suck and I'm not watching another game until we win. And I'm fully aware that may be a couple weeks away.

What the **** happened? Trade everybody

Thank you sir. This is pure gold. Lol.

Video I took of the closing seconds:

Nothing bad to say about the Hornets (I'm a Hornets season ticketholder after all), but it was nice to shut up the guy behind me that spent the first 3 quarters offering his "expert opinion" that the Magic were worse than the 76ers. I'll root for them every other day, but not against my beloved Magic (or the Knicks... Hornets > the other 27 NBA teams though). This was actually the second time I got to see Orlando live this season. We lucked out and got the Magic here in the preseason. That was a good game too, although the Magic came up short. Nice to get the win when it "counts" though! I'm also hoping to make it down to Orlando for the Magic/Celtics game around Christmas too.

EDIT: One funny note from the game tonight... Charlotte season ticketholders get a discount at the concessions. I was decked out in Magic gear, but had to flash my Hornets season ticketholder card to get the discount. The cashier asked if I had divided loyalties tonight, and I had to explain to her, "no ma'am, I'm all Orlando tonight." 8-)

I could be wrong but it seems j v ups the bench minutes on the first of a back to back giving us a better chance for a w on the back game.

Awesome come back. I like Payton a lot, good game by Fournier and Tobias as well. How is Aaron Gordon doing overall? Worthy 4th pick?

He broke his foot about a week ago (?) so we don't really know yet. So far he's all energy but has this deer in the headlights look. When he plays within the flow of the offense he looks good, not so much when tries to create. Looks like a potential lockdown defender.

Tough to tell. But no rookie is really blowing it out of the water. He certainly looks to have the makings of a future star though.

Am I being biased if I say I think AG is the best rookie defender by far?

I was thinking about going to the game tonight and looked at ticket prices, I was like :o  . Lebron james aint walkin through that door and 65 bucks to hug a rafter is insane.

Do you guys think I can get a deal from someone across the street? Any other cheaper tickets? A decent seat in the upper bowl is 100 bucks, are they selling those tickets?

I haven't seen anyone mention the hop in his step on defense. I don't know if he "shut down" anyone but he was really active and at least trying to contest jump shots after going over screens.

Even though I joke about the confidence stuff, it must feel nice to feed off the rest of the team's energy. Everyone turned it up.

This is how he was playing in the first week or so of the season, then he got benched and lost his confidence and got tentative, now he got it back. But when he plays like that, he has a certain edgyness to him, that fire that comes out, and his body language is like "we are not going to lose this game". He just turns it up another level, like another gear, like he just finds a way to will himself and it's contagious to his teammates. Not many players in this league have that "edge" or the ability to will themselves like that. I notice that Aaron Gordon also has the edge and ability to will himself like that but he hasn't had as many chances to show it. Its impressive that young rookies have those qualities, it's not often.

good to see jv sticking with what was working rather than going back to full starters near the end. that unit deserved to stay in the game.

loved payton being aggressive. seems like he's been that way the last couple of games. maybe the benching woke him up.

ben gordon is definitely not what we need moving forward unless we can find a better way to work him into the system. right now he's just basically operating alone out there.

Return to Orlando Magic
