He's playing pretty well all things considered. Theres a small chance he came back a little early as well, so paired with that face mask being uncomfortable (well it cant be comfortable having something strapped to your face when you are sweating buckets) - hes not that bad off.

But also, hes a SG. There's obviously some discussion behind the scenes and more to it than we see, but once that move of Efrid and Payton goes through, with Evan off the bench as a dynamite 6th man, it will look a lot more natural (and I think better off for it).

Dipo will never be a Superstar but he can def be a Westbrook, Iggy, joe Johnson, Isiah Thomas type. Allstars

out of all those you just listed, I think only Iggy is an apt comparison. The others are all better offensively, and Westbrook is arguably a superstar.

Dipo is fine. I didn't expect him to be back from two injuries and almost no preseason and being a beast.

I just wish JV would put Payton to play PG instead of him. I mean, it's ok for Dipo to run the point for a few minutes, but he's not a PG. He should be moving without the ball. And since we have a guy who actually plays PG and seems to have e bright future, why not use him more?

Dipo goes from amazing me with his ability to get to the rim at will, straight to befuddling me with his inability to finish. Downright maddening.

He is obviously the worst player in Magic history and makes Greg Kite look like Jordan.

Oladipo bust. Trade him for Waiters. I would love a guy like that on my team. Dion Waiters knows exactly what leadership is.... Jesus man, are we seriously overacting about Oladipo already

In the end I believe the Oladipo experiment at PG helped him grow as player and refine skills he wouldn't have otherwise, such as Dwayne Wade playing PG as a rookie. But it is time for the Magic to put Oladipo in his natural position and start Payton at PG.

i was assuming he was referring to current players, thus the 5'9 Thomas playing for the Suns, who most definitely is not a superstar and HOF

Oladipo is having a terrible start to the season and is still playing better than mclemore.

at this point, not playing Payton at PG with Oladipo at the 2 is just maddening.

It is but I think that was the plan since the start of the season. Slowly integrate Payton and then he'd eventually start. The problem is Oladipo just came off multiple injuries and no preseason/training camp. I'm guessing Vaughn is continuing the plan, but is playing Oladipo all these minutes to shake off the rust is quickly as possible AND the original plan with Payton is not thrown away.

I dont think thats the case. Vaughn made oladipo the pg early last season, no reason why he would slowly ease payton into it now. He legitimately thinks oladipo is a better option there right now.
