Told you guys he would be a great pair with Vuc.

He is making Frye his woman. Nicholson, Hark and a future 2nd.

Not hard to make Channing Frye your woman.

Also don't think David West is who we need to pair with Vuc, either.

Hindsight 20/20, I know, but I wish Hennigan would've let AN or KOQ fill in as starting PF and have AG play coming off the bench.

An >>>>> Frye.

So because he owned Frye that means he would fit good next to Vuc?

No thanks. And I Highly doubt that Indiana would even accept that. They may not be looking to necessarily win now but next year they will be so I don't think they are looking to sell unless they get something good back which Nicholson, Hark and a 2nd wouldn't be. Plus we don't need to trade for aging and expensive vets that wouldn't change the needle much either way.

Millsap could play the DAvid West role here. and much closer in age to our young core. But no to West, he has about 1-2 years left at a decent level before he starts dropping off

So Harkless has more value then Dipo?

I do doubt that the Magic couldn't get West with that package the deal is Indy needs to tank for a good pick anyway.
This is a lost season. Find out what it takes to get West for this year or two. His contract is about to expire.

Millsap is surely a superior option and would be the best target but I doubt Atlanta would move him in the same division. As for Isiah Thomas the guy can put the ball in the bucket. We have trouble with that in case you all didn't notice. Not a whole lot more that I can say but if we go for me first players to fill out the roster why sign Willie Green and Bum Garbage why not get a scorer in his prime.

He does not but you all are so averse to moving Dipo I say throw Hark in there with Nicholson and sweeten the pot for Indy with cash, an exception, and a 2nd or a future 1st (2016).This is the still the,NBA veterans still do get traded for bags of chips and chewing gum. It just happens that Otis was a butt clown and couldn't ever win on a trade.

As for Isaiah Thomas I have nothing more to say. He can score in bunches. The Magic as it is constructed cannot.
You can say you hate short guards but at the end on the day you have Willie, bum, and luke all your roster. None of them can go get their points when needed. We may be able to shore up the D but we still cannot score

He's 34. Great player and can be a huge part of a championship team, but he doesn't fit here. I mean, can you imagine him leaving a contender, coming to our team, and being happy about that? And it doesn't make sense for us. Getting rid of young assets to bring back a guy who may not play at a high level too much longer.

No. too old. too expensive. And he doesn't make us that much better. Makes no sense to trade for West. There are no quick fixes and unless something real good comes up I say stay the course and see what we have in our young talent.
