Denver is hoping to close a five-game road trip on a positive note after falling 108-91 at Miami on Friday. Kenneth Faried stayed hot with 20 points, but the Nuggets shot 7 of 27 from 3-point range and 10 of 19 from the foul line.
"The guys know this is our last crack at getting another win on this trip," Hunt said. "We had a little mini goal, we were hoping to sweep Florida. We dropped this one, but (Sunday) is a big game for us, and we're going to treat it that way."
"I do see a different spirit (in Payton), an aggressiveness that is new," interim coach James Borrego said. "There's something different in his eye right now, and he makes us a very dangerous team when he's in that mode."
