it might take a couple days to get used to the time difference, he loses 8 or 9 hours.

As someone already said, Hezonja will play a big role in Eurobasket 2015, hence don't expect to see much of him. 30 minutes in 2 games is the max you will see of him.

He is also tired from a long season, he barely had a break considering he was at World Cup 2014 with Croatia. Even though he averaged 14 minutes (combined acb/euroleague) per game, he had like 70-80 games since last August, that's a lot of travel, also consider they take the bus for many acb away games.

I don't get this... half of the people here are saying he won't play much because he is tired and all while the other half is saying, he barely played in his old team because of their crazy coach..

so which is which? Will he play a lot or not?

They mean Summer Leage. He will most certainly play this season, but likely won't play much in SL if at all. Maybe a game or two. Rob will make sure Henzonja does get rest before the season starts.

Yup I too meant summer league...

Of course he has to play in the regular season otherwise, why did we pick him.

But in SL, I was wondering because there are two sides to the story of either he played too much or too little. (lol)

Yup. I don't think he's going back to Europe anytime soon, but in case of lockout or something similar he can't play for anyone else but them.

6. Coming from Barcelona.

Adjustment time won't be too bad. A day, two tops.

congrats guys, I absolutely love that pick for you. I think he's precisely what you needed. You have one hell of a fun team for the future, you are my favorite eastern conference team and will be watching a lot of games of the Magic. I can't wait to watch even the Summer League. Do you know by any chance if Hezonja will participate?

It's only been the biggest topic since he was drafted. :)

GM says probably 1-2 games. He gets off the plane Wednesday and just finished playing 80 games or whatever. Not many minutes but plenty of travel, and he plays some Euro tournament later this summer too.

I would guess he'd probably play in your local Orlando league in order to get introduced to the fans and then he'll probably get released to get some rest before the European Championship in September. Or was the Orlando league the one without stands for the fans?

The Orlando league is the crappy one. I'm sure they'll find some way to get him in front of the fans.

Yes. Thanks for the info. No more worrying about if and when he was coming. Wish we could keep him out of playing for his country so he can be rested for this upcoming season.
