Now, I heard it all. Mario is compared to Kobe. This reminds me of that fateful thread years ago comparing Stuckey over Derrick Rose. Lololol

Right now I am hoping Hezonja is a capable back-up for the Magic. But the question was around his ceiling relative to his game. Do I expect Hezonja to be a top-3 ever SG in the NBA? Of course not. But one can dream.

I have faith that Mario will end up a capable Starter in the NBA as his floor.

If Evan Fournier and Tracy McGrady had a baby, his name would be Mario Hezonja.

I wonder if he likes Pizza.

Seriously, if Hezonja is the unlimited player we hope he is, he is the next Kobe Bryant by these comparisons. A scorer-load mouth that can dunk and hit a J. It's Kobe not any of the other players mentioned.

..

Garrity lacked athleticism and couldn't play defense. At best he'd be a poor man's Ryan Anderson.

I was thinking more along the lines of a Rich Mans Von Wafer with Height and Length.

I was thinking about this the other day: what if Pat Garrity and Andrew Nicholson switched eras?

Always thought of Garrity as the guy who would go 5/7 in a blowout game, then go 0/5 in the important ones...
