See, I was telling everyone about this... It might really stunt his development if he doesn't wise up....

Buddy of mine is a reporter for Brighthouse Sports, and is friendly with a couple of our core guys. Let me tell you, no one enjoys playing under Scott. Tobias and Dipo BOTH want to play in NY and would go in a heartbeat if they had the chance. The list goes on.. Vuc likes Scott though

Wait, what?

That doesn't make sense as Harris just signed with us and could've gone to NY...

The interview after the Wednesday game and tonight, you know he is not happy coming off the bench and he gives the predictable answers. His tone and expression gives his words a "shoulder shrug" kinda feel.

He's towing the line, for now.

Don't care about how Oladipo feels about it. His level of play is all that matters and he's been excellent the last 3 games.

I don't think Victor is being a prima donna. But even if he was talking that way, his play on the court speaks for itself. Ultimately, that's what matters. Marcin Gortat always wanted a bigger role with us, but he was always professional on the court and played his role well. I expect Victor will be the same. He may want to start, but he's thriving in this role right now, and it's been good for us as a team and for him individually. Frye may or may not be the answer in the starting lineup, but for now I don't see any reason to change what's been working with Victor.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I still don't understand the problem. He's more serious. He doesn't have to be happy about coming off the bench, nobody is.

People were mad about Dwight being too goofy, so I find nothing wrong with Oladipo being more serious. He also said "its all about winning" so I'm sure he's fine with it as long as he's not playing like 10-15 minutes and we lose.

Man, you guys create problems where there isn't any.

Victor has been great the last 3 games.

Hope he sees his teams winning record and realizes him coming off the bench is the reason we have one.

I just do not see the professionalism in his demeanor in those two postgame interviews. When you get paid millions to be a major contributor on a winning team, coming off the bench shouldn't matter, not on this team anyways.

Despite this being a rumor, this thing about Vuc liking Skiles doesn't surprise me one bit :D

To be clear, the women doing to the postgame interview knew to ask him about it.

I liked Vuc showing some swagger. You can see the mentallity of this team beggining to change. They are tougher. Dipo even said they expect to win now.

Young people often dislike the old guy who makes them work and tells them when their work sucks. If they get something out of it, they usually come to appreciate the work and the old guy. But only if they get something out of it.

And sometimes they will be Dwight Howard and back-stab the best thing that ever happened to their basketball careers.

Skiles is like Stan. Players may dislike how much he pushes them but in the end they realize the coach wants the best of the team so they deal with it because he is right.

3yrs/$20m?

I love how Skiles is maxing out all our guys in contract years by suddenly playing them a ton and getting the most out of them. Thanks, dude.
