Re: Game Thread: Magic (19-17) @ Nets (10-25) 7:30 Tipoff
I'm not convinced we're out of the funk, although a win might improve troop morale and help them play better. We went down to the wire with a very bad Nets team, and if Oladipo doesn't randomly make six 3s tonight, where would we be?
I'm glad we won, because we could not afford to lose this one. But I remain skeptical, is all I'm saying.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

One thing I noticed tonight is although we struggled to score we still made a conscience effort to move the ball, hence the 25 assists.

OT: watching Pels Pacers and at least there's a game uglier than ours tonight.

I agree but I wouldn't have thought we were out of the funk even if we'd blown them out. With Jack out, the Nets are even worse than they were before. The missed Joe Johnson three when he had about an hour to set his feet and aim from the top of the key was a microcosm of their season.
Win tomorrow night and I'll feel a bit better.

why does cj watson look so sad and lonely all the time? he didn't talk to anyone all game except one of your assistants.

Well, it worked. Let's test this operation out tomorrow against a real team and then we're off to London! Curious if Elfrid plays there, I'd imagine so, he did participate in shootaround today.

Game was ugly but we did enough to win and that's the most important thing. Brooklyn wasn't going to just lay there and give us the game. I liked that we didn't panic and we moved the basketball much better than we have the past four games. Victor is finally shooting with confidence and not changing his release every time he shoots. Loved what AG brought off the bench, he was huge in the 4th quarter. Feels good to get a win finally in 2016. Time to face our demons that are the Washington Wizards tomorrow. I really hope we can beat them for once.

damn, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for Harris!
and 6/8 3's for Oladipo?! i'm stoked for him, he deserved to snap out of that funk in a big way.
AG did a great job of fitting in with the starters tonight. moved well off the ball, hit the boards, made his shots.
i quite liked the Vuc/Harris/Gordon/Fournier/Oladipo lineup. Hopefully we run with that tomorrow vs the Wizards. it's time to bench Frye.

Wasn't able to catch this game but I'm glad the team got a win. Congrats boys.

I'm glad we won, because we could not afford to lose this one. But I remain skeptical, is all I'm saying.
To be fair there's been games where I think, "If Victor would've just made a reasonable percentage of shots we would've won this game." And most nights we can expect better shooting from Vuc and Harris.

For a bit this Magic team thought it could beat anybody on any given night, and I think getting throttled by their dads, the Wiz and Cavs, knocked the wind out of their sails. Maybe this win will give them a boost. Would be great if they could take a win against the Wizards on their Euro trip.

Missed the game. Not a terrible stat line for AG, any dribbles off the foot?
