Everyone pouring it on on Dipo right now for one bad shot... we would have lost this game by 30+ without him. He shot 10-18 (1 miss being a 3/4 court heave at the buzzer). Good lord.

Victor needs to know when to shoot and when not to. Sure he had a good game but theres nothing i hate more than his 20 ft shot than Evan Fournier.

Who? Me? For not wanting to feature Jason Smith? If so, I plead guilty.

I only saw one person piling on, the rest are lamenting a lost opportunity. There is no denying that Oladipo wants to be the guy to take the game-winning shots. He just isn't any good at it. He is a player that could really benefit from a bit more selectivity at the offensive end.

That's it man. You wanna take this to the court? I swear I'll shoot you out of the gym right now.

Good job, good effort. Wish we would actually sustain that type of play for 48 minutes. We would have been in the game the entire time.
Marvin Williams destroying us was the difference.

He's getting there. He's had his most efficient 2.5-3 months that he's ever had here. People love piling up on him for some reason though.

This offseason will be THE off season. Meaning henny and crew better right some wrongs or bye bye
Hennigan is doomed because he's not allowed to fire Skiles. May as well say your goodbyes to him now.
Yep. Alex Martins will choose his mediocre at best, coach pal Skiles over Hennigan. Not saying Hennigan has any blame but there's a reason Skiles never lasts long.
That's a myth, or just false. He lasted into his fifth year at his last 2 stops, Chicago and Milwaukee. The most consecutive years any coach has coached the Magic in team history is 5 (Doc Rivers fired in fifth season, and Stan Van Gundy).

Re: GT: Orlando @ Charlotte
honestly, i don't understand why we're not seeing more Nicholson with Vuc out. we need a post presence, and if that requires a lineup change then we should do it.
(Smith/Dedmon)
Nicholson / Ilyasova
Gordon / Hezonja
Fournier / Dipo
(Payton/Oladipo/Jennings)
That's a lineup I'm keen to see have a run for a couple games. Just to see what Nicholson can really do when unleashed.

To be fair, that's a decision Oladipo has been making for a long time now and it needs to be out of his system at some point if we're ever going to be good. This isn't the first Magic game people have ever seen to be able to make judgements from. But overall good game from Dipo and another very depressing night for Magic fans whether they realise it or not.

Re: GT: Orlando @ Charlotte
Good effort by that unit, but they just couldn't get a rebound. Nicholson is statistically a solid defensive rebounder, and he was solid tonight, but he's not a dominant rebounder and he was our only big on the floor. So it was going to be a struggle.
But that almost-but-not-quite comeback changes nothing. I'm sure some certain individual(s) will try inventing some kind of vindication. But...no.

11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Re: GT: Orlando @ Charlotte
Our defense looked far less shambolic when Smith and Fournier were off the court for that run. It was against Charlotte's second unit, but it is worth mentioning as our defense was in disarray for large swathes of this game.

Weird game , AG had. His first bad game in awhile , I noticed that he struggles when he is matched up with younger athletic pf (m Williams, randle) that he isn't faster than.

Didn't watch the game. What the hell happened to AG? He hardly played, was he injured? I really need him to come through for my fantasy team.

Both games he rarely saw the ball as well. Add foul trouble to that.. you get a bad game.

Early foul trouble. Looked hesitant the entire game after that.
