Ask Biyombo why he decided to join the Magic, who's best player so far plays the same position as himself. Why not go to a team where he can be guaranteed a starting role? If that wasn't possible, why not atleast join an established play off team? Instead he chose a team who hasn't been in the play offs for 5 years, doesn't have a star player yet, and can't guarantee him a starting spot. Why??

I just heard this on The Starters latest podcast. Did you steal it from there? This is a safe place. You can tell us if you did.

Maybe there's a middle ground. Do you like your balls to be hard or a little soft?

I know Charlie Bell posted here when he was playing (or after he retired, I forgot) and I think some other players have interacted with people here. Chris Bosh comes to mind. But yeah, it's probably not the best idea to read stuff like a forum.. Twitter is probably just as bad though.

I can tell you with 100% confidence that teams have people who read the forums. It was told to me over and over at Summer League by multiple franchises.

And several players admitted they lurk (not the term they used) around the forums here and on a bunch of other team sites.

So many don't want to believe that they read this stuff but the people that work for organizations are normal people too (and a large majority of them are basketball junkies). Of course they're reading.

Ehhh... I can understand why the organization would be interested in the collective perception of the club from its supporters. Some soccer clubs have organized supporters clubs that hold some influence over the direction of the club itself. I simply don't think it is in the best interest of any player to read these forums.

They're people though. They're going to be curious and it's not difficult to find when you're bored.

I'm curious what other offers Biyombo had? I know a few here implied we were bidding against ourselves.

Never listened to that podcast. I remember seeing a similar question on twitter a few years ago.

It was all a dream. Magic did not ship out Oladipo for Ibaka, sign Bizmark or hire Vogel! :o

Vooch and Evan are interviewing each other right now.

Vooch - So Evan, you didn't play for your national team this offseason.

Fournier - No.

Vooch - Cause you suck.

I wish the magic would remove brandon jennings, channing frye, etc from their magic players list on twitter. Trying to find magic media day stuff and knicks crap keeps popping up.

Read on Twitter

Definitely looks like maybe 10 lbs of muscle. Also, warming up to the Star uniforms.
