Ended 4-17 with 6 turnovers.

But hey, he's our big money man.

That can't be true because he hit a 3 pointer when we were at around 100 points.

Obviously because the guy we traded him for had a huge game against us. We gave up our own 2nd rounder in 2015 and a top 11 protected this year, top 8 next, or two 2nd rounders in 2018 and 2019. Would we have gotten the pick this year? Probably not. But next year? Good chance. Even if you somehow equate the #10 or 11 pick as a 2nd rounder (it's not) the team could've used that pick as part of another trade. And if we end up with the worse player? Saric has shown noticeable improvement from the beginning of the season. EP in his 3rd year still hasn't made the jump we're all expecting.

He ended 4-17 with the rest of his shots. Meaning he had 8 FGM at the end of the game.

That being said, what a clutch loss! Really thought we were gonna win at the end. Glad I was wrong.

Depends what you mean better. If you mean more athletic than Payton is your guy. If you mean a winner and grit and high bbiq than its Saric.
Let me put it to you like this. In quite a few amount of games and especially the biggest wins Saric was either the motor and grit when sixers gave up or their balls shriveled and got scared of the situation, pushing them through the slump usually on his own till they started to play. OR he made the plays or stretches in the last quarter that boosted the confidence of the team and fiering them up which would be the deciding moments, like the two blocks in raptors game and 5 pts 2-3 rebounds and 1 stl in next 5 min. But most importantly he , even when he played terribly and had lousy shooting night, would be part of the winning play in one ball or close games, like rebounding in a crowd and passing off blanace for a winning three pointer or inbounding for a easy winning shot. He doesnt give up. And unlike Payton he has improved massively just in this year (especially his defense). And he will improve massively till next year offensively. He is that kind of a player (its his MO). And he does it with small arms and not that good of an athleticism.
With him stats dont tell the whole story.

Also let's not pretend this board wouldnt have melted down if we picked a player who didn't play for 2 years. Saric played well today but Payton is improving.

http://www.prosportstransactions.com/basketball/DraftTrades/Future/76ers.htm

Its actually just a top 8 protected next year. Let's see how Sixers play with Simmons, Embiid and 2017 top 4&top 5 picks in 2017 draft next season. Personally, I'm not high on Saric but I do think the deal would favor big for Sixers if their pick is below top 8 next season:

With the drafted pg we deserve.

You liked him last month after not liking him, now he's on par with CJ **** WATSON?

Yeah, it's hard to take you serious.

When I thought he contributed to wins, I had a positive view of him. When I don't see that...maybe its vogels vault. We would be in the playoffs if Elf started and played all 48?

Yeah I don't get the negativity towards Hezonja. He's the least of the problems IMO. Him starting is a good thing. At some point, we need to know what we have with this guy. He was trajecting in the right direction his rookie season then this nightmare season happened.

Is it trolling if it's the truth. At least when this board was obsessed with Travis Diener it was fun.

I'm glad you pointed this out as no one on this team is without reprieve.

I would think he would have this at the back of his mind though with the near 1 year anniversary of this play

Sorry Howard but I feel bad for fans that wanted us to win this game. We deserved to lose this after what Vogel just pulled with Watson.

I do too. It's been a horrible season and it's even worse when you see where this team is rebuilding wise.

I did not like the decision to start Watson either.

Only a few more games till the deadline.

I don't have anything positive to say about our coaching staff or front office. This is just horrible. Glad we lost though.

It can't come soon enough. Fans are just tired of watching this group. I'm shocked it was kept together for this long.

Bro, you and a couple others on this board have issues... Do you ever get tired of making a fool of yourself?

I thought it would be messy early and expected a deal a lot sooner.

We are all definitely ready for some deals.

Same here. I'm a bit shocked we didn't go all in to get Butler after the back and forth in their locker-room a while ago.

I suspect there were no deals while they tried to decide to trade in an attempt to win, versus dumping in an attempt to tank. I'm still not sure the ownership is convinced.

But Fournier seriously thought that there would be no one to block his way on final possession?
That was like crossing an intersection without looking before smh.
