The point is that Harden has done well with a team that doesn't have a LMA or even a Gasoline level sidekick. You put him in a big 2 or big 3 lineup and he'll be contending.

Ah yeah, I thought he had an amazing year.. plus he helped me win my first fantasy title ever so I can't hate. I thought he handled the postgame well and took blame for the loss which is what you want your leader to do.

I predicted Spurs in 6. Rockets roster really isn't that good.
Anderson , Lou , Harden and Gordon can't defend. Simple as that.

Lou is really, really bad defender who had horrible series.
Gordon is not as bad as Harden and Lou but still is undersized for SG.

And above all, after they lost Nene, they had 7 men in active roster. No suprise, they only had $90M salary.

If Durant had signed with Houston last summer then no doubt they'd be challenging the Warriors in the WCFs right now, IMO.

Not from me... I have been on the anti-Harden (and players like him) bandwagon for years.

Klay is complete no-show since Blazers series

On other hand, Manu was something that i hoped Hezonja can develope into. Don't see it any more. Manu at age of almost 40 still has moments where he looks like superior player on the floor. Crazy.

Great game. Too bad SA didnt win, they certaintly deserved to win it. GS caught some breaks. That possesion that GS got 3 shots and Curry finally made the 3 was a killer for SA.

Whole GB is blowing up for what appears to be (imo) a normal shot contest. Feel bad for the Spurs and Kawhi though as this was their game. Such a classy group of individuals.

If Spurs can get somebody like Chris Paul.... damn

Leonard is just freaking amazing. No other way around it. I would say that after Lebron he might be second best player in whole league.

It's never incidental when your feet end up under a jump shooter. It's reckless/careless at the minimum. It's one of the unwritten rules of basketball. It cost San Antonio this game, so I can completely understand why their fans are upset. To be clear, I'm not calling it a dirty play or calling him a dirty player, but I can guarantee you that GS fans would be very upset if Bruce Bowen was doing the same to any of their shooters.

Stat of the day: If the Celtics go on to lose to these Cavaliers, the Orlando Magic will be the only franchise(of teams that faced both these players) with a winning record against Michael Jordan and LeBron James(2-1).

I know how to do random ESPN stats.

If we're talking about karma, let's assume then that SA got their karma for all those years of dirty B. Bowen playing for the Spurs, and Pop defending his players. I do feel bad for Leonard for sure, but Pop speaking out how he did is comedy.

Oh come on, Bowen retired 8 years ago

I'm really enjoying this slaughterfest by the cavs. It's hard to grasp being the 1 seed, in the conference finals, with the #1 pick. I wish so much losing upon them in this series. It's just not fair.

I know we messed up our rebuild twice, but right now is a great time to be terrible in the league. No one is beating the Cavs or Warriors while they have a monopoly on stars in the league (and IMO weak competitive mindsets to have to team up together). It sure does making a fight for the playoffs and not tanking completely really stupid though. Probably another 2+ years of Cavs/Warriors so hopefully we are competitive by then.

These have to be the most uninteresting and uncompetitive playoffs in years. The NBA needs to do something about competetive balance and the way teams can rebuild in terms of time or people will stop paying attention. The east is a joke. This is one of several 30+ or 40+ blowouts.
