And I've defended Vuc but I like this team more when Elf is the motor of the offense.

Defense was such a mess this game. The offense was bad too, but we looked completely out of sync defensively.

If AG doesn't dominate Marquees Chriss tomorrow I just don't know what to say about him.

The main point I was right about, which I think you missed - regardless what past lineup you rolled out, our team is not ready for the big time yet. We need to keep rebuilding and drafting. And yes, Martins sucks.

Yes, but we should have kept the Dipo and Harris. No, they're not stars but they're better than most, if not ALL, of our players. You can lose with Dipo and Harris (and we proved that for years). My only gripe right now is management. When you choose Fournier over Dipo, you clearly don't know what you're doing. Do you trust Martins and whoever his GM is to draft/develop the right guy?

Dipo and Fournier put up very similar numbers playing the same position for the Magic, except Evan scored more points and shot better from 3. I posted the stats in the Ross thread. Fournier is also the younger player. It's not crazy to choose Fournier over Dipo, especially for a team that needs 3 point shooters. Remember, Evan shot 40% from 3 last year. The only reason Dipo is shooting better this year is he gets insane spacing playing next to Westbrook.

I don't miss Harris and Dipo simply because they are not game changing players. Harris does not even start now and Detroit is not a good team. We could have kept Dipo but he wanted to be the man and I doubt he'd take kindly to a guy like Tatum coming in and showing him how to score 20 plus a game.

Is management great? No. But the NBA is tough. Look at Mil. Hw are those guys still not in the playoffs? Why is Minny so damn bad with a great coach and elite young players? The NBA is hard. We will get things back on track but it won't happen overnight.

You and me both especially when it comes to Bismack and Augustin who are both awful.

Ironically, I think they're just awful because they play for us. Could you imagine DJ just shooting open threes for GS or the Cavs... Biz is a tougher fit since he's so terrible on offense but he looks especially bad on the magic. I would like to see Biz's contract gone for sure. DJ can go because we try to use him like a star instead of a backup pg. DJ should be a backup for a contender.

Someone needs to identify the lost Magic fan that spent multiple grand to fly from Australia to watch this and the Kings game in person. That guy needs a hug.

Cj rises for a chuck, sees the defender right there, throws it away. Next possession, immediately chucks again. He will not be denied.

And now for the hat trick.

- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Anyone notice CJ almost fumble that inbound out of bounds. That was Pure Magoc right there.

You're right about DJ. He would probably be more reigned in on a contender. I'm disappointed in him because he was actually pretty damn solid with the Nuggets last season. Biz does not fit us at all. Just a horrible signing overall. When he was playing well for the Raptors, I knew a team was going to overpay for his services and was praying that it would not be us. Have to find a way to rid ourselves of both contracts.

I just can't consider nights like these good tank nights at all. Where elf and AG don't play a good chunk of the game because we're getting anahilated like this. These 30+ point blowouts are just bad for the culture of this franchise. If any of the guys on this team are going to be part of the long term future it's hard to imagine that games like this are doing anything to help them. It's just embarrassing on all fronts.

It's the best small ball team in the world versus a weak team that just switched to small ball 4 weeks ago. These guys can defend everyone on the court so well. When a team as bad as us on offense comes in on a road trip, it's not a huge surprise to me that we got run.

Horrible game. All this agony will be with it when we win a chip. I'm 30 now, I just want one before I die basketball gods, please!

That was a classic Rudezing. 0-1, 1 turnover, 2 fouls, nothing else.

It's been a recurring theme all season. The scary part is that we are getting obliterated while actually trying to win.

The Bismack signing will go down as one the worst right next to the dipo trade.
