I was just naming examples

I just meant that I wanted to know if you root for the young Magic players who can still become studs rather than veteran role-players who came here as veteran role players

From "A Time to Kill"

A hard movie to watch given the content, but a good movie to watch nonetheless.

As for former Magic players I pull for:

Oladipo
Nelson
Harkless
Ariza
Barnes

I root against Dwight. Does that count?

Jameer is the guy I always cheer for.

The guys the OP listed (Dipo, Harris, Harkless) ... are you kidding me? They weren't here long enough to contribute anything. I am busy enough worrying about my Magic and Noles. I don't have time to care about guys who made a pit stop in Orlando.

We should retire Jameers jersey. But reason why I root for dipo is I thought he was that guy for us. I think it was just going through some many coaches. Etc

However, there are some players that I kinda hope aren't as successful, but that's not because of the player. Most of the time it's because of some people on here and how they always act like we lost a superstar in the making when we trade them away, like Harris. I loved Harris during his time here, but with the way people reacted about that trade, I'm glad when something goes wrong with the Pistons so I don't have to hear about how "we screwed up".

But I would say yes for the most part. I'm normally the guy that defends our players the most on this board, so of course I'm happy to see most succeed somewhere else. Most recently, Channing Frye winning a championship last year after everyone called him a bum and a scrub. I know that Evan and Vuc are gonna be two other players I have to defend on a daily basis that I'm going to cheer for after they inevitably get traded.

I used to defend Vuc and Fornier but haters will be haters for whatever reason! Now that we have some depth and they will not be called on to produce above and beyond their capabilities maybe they can be accepted for being proficient role players! Haters will STILL find fault for sure but for the most part ignore them!!!

I do believe it does depend on the player but at the same time I've always wanted the Magic to set the Culture of pride when it comes to wearing the pinstripes. In essence I have a "Once a Magic always a Magician" thought process to this.
