Fultz and Gary are probably gone.

However, we have Jett and AB already waiting AND more importantly, the big FA we will sign ( Monk Grayson Klay whoever ) to go alongside Suggs and Cole

So we need another one?

I would keep Harris.
He gives shooting and defense.

If we keep Harris then even more reason not to get another rookie guard

May be they sign Malik Monk.
Monk fits so good with Banchero and Wagner.

I know a lot don't want to hear this BUT

Starting SF - Franz
Funky lineup SF - Paolo
Backuo SF - Jingles
3rd SF - Houstan
Waiting to play SF - Jett
Emergency SF - Black

Backup SF a position of need for the Magic.
These two are interesting for the Magic.

Or they sign Fontecchio in the summer

Anyone else thinks Fultz owes this franchise to resign with us for a discount rate and have a procedure in place to cure his TOS?

Franz is the only true SF in this list.

Ingles is my age and won’t be here in a season or two.

Houstan and Jett are just jumbo shooting guards. I don’t think either of them are suited to be guarding Forwards and lose their positional advantages “playing up”. Same thing with Black.. just because he can doesn’t mean he should.

We have to remember this is a Weltman FO. He’d sooner get a 6’10 guy to play at SF if he could. Klintman is exactly who they would take in this situation.

NO, why stop here? Quadruple down.

The play when fully healed SF - Isaac
the out of position SF - Carter
the small lineup SF - Suggs
the high ranking officer SF - Admiral
the worthless SF - Fultz

I think we're in the enviable position of choosing BPA or trading for a player that can contribute NOW.

The only exception would be another raw, defense-first project in the backcourt-we DO NOT need one more of those.

...I'd like a physical, athletic Center to replace Goga and save money and there seem to be quite a few in this class.
...I'd also really like to see if there are any high BBIQ-types at any position, particularly upperclassmen - who could come in and contribute and develop at the same time (think a younger Ingles or a Jaime Jacquez), even if they're ceiling isn't soaring.

Terrance Shannon Jr would be my number one target.

6’7” MISSLE on the court.

He would fit in perfectly with the core.

Devin Carter would be number 2 choice.

Jared McCain would be 3rd choice

Late round Drew Pember.

All guards?

We are already big everywhere. Why would you target another big in the first round?

Shannon Jr is 6 foot 7.

That might as well be a big in the NBA these days.

Sure you can targets big in FA. I like Pember who fits the NBA game in second round. Why let Goga walk? Wendell will still be here. Paolo and Franz both might as well be bigs, and you know Mo is going nowhere.

We need guards who can score.

Absolutely can stretch the floor.

Simple, as much as I am on the Goga-hype, I know deep down a player of Goga's caliber would not want to be a 3rd string C. They guy is young and would want at WORST to be a backup C with constant maybe 20mins a game. Here, he knows he can get that minutes only if our wcj/MoeSwag duo gets injured.

So I am preparing for his departure. Where else to get a 7 footer that is willing to be sit and develop n the bench and willing to play on during human victory cigar time?

Sadly, another sad truth is that unless JEtt and Houstan has shown the lateral quickness to be able to guard SG, those 2 are stuck in the SF role. Don't think anyone in the coaching staff would like to see our defense collapsing every time one of those two try to guard the average SGs of the league.

Also, against all logic, I want Knecht but sadly, he played himself out of our draft range.. so im settling for a big.

But what big and what constitutes as a big?!

Overseas?

First round bigs don’t exist in NCAA, unless you are looking to develop.

And hell no Knecht won’t be close to Magic pick.

And please don’t say Filipkowski

Yes... develop. Exactly.
1st round bigs for 3rd C to develop and trot out for celebrations Im going with Ware or Clingan.
2nd round Im curious about Iviscic-something

For the JI understudy Im thinkin of Smith from GL. Although with GL closing after this season because it sucks, im leery if he is worth it.

Also, there are good 1st round bigs in the NCAA. You forgot M.Williamd and Lively? But yeah, there is no good Duke prospect this season. The nearest I was all for was PRoctor after he showed up last year. This year he kinda sucks though.

Clingan will never stay healthy.

Ware is interesting though. Dude should’ve dominated way more at Indiana though and never had that edge. No thanks.
