Hehe, those "classy" Detroit fans. Have you folks ever been to Detroit for any type of sporting event? They go to the airport to boo when the other team has a safe landing
While I personally do not wish for any injury at any time, does it really matter? It is what it is. The only thing the Magic can do is try to win. Which, btw, may not be all that easy today WITHOUT Billups!

"And with Dwight, he's Moses Malone at 22, Shaq at 22 and Tim Duncan.

do i want an injury? no. but if there is one i'm not going to stage a protest and demand the series not continue until Billups is back to full strength.
you want to play with semantics then learn the rules first you superfluous sideshow.
Superfluous sideshow, ouch.
Just to be clear, no one is watching the games hoping for an injury, or cheering as they help a man off the court. Things would be completely different if he had broken his neck and was on a ventilator somewhere, but its not that at all. Its a pulled hamstring, and to of all people but our nemesis. I don't see how that can't make your heart glow just a little brighter as a Magic fan, maybe I'm built differently, but I welcome the advantage.

I don't see it as an advantage though.
I see it as a motivator for a very good team, and a steppingstone leading to a potential letdown by the Magic.
I really, really wish he was or will be healthy.
Paranoia strikes again. (I've coached too many games I guess.)
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

As the Kinks wrote, paranoia may destroy ya. I for one will take it any day of the week, twice on Saturday. Stuckey played well in his absence, but he's no Chauncey Billups. Go Magic!

From Denton's article:
"I'm feeling a little better (Friday), but it's still tough to say," said Billups, who spoke prior to Detroit's practice at Amway Arena. "It's a soft tissue injury, and it's tough. It's very restrictive. Even when I just try to walk fast, it's restrictive. I have to be careful."

Shaq was never this good at 22 so what does that say about Dwight.
Billups maybe starting or coming off the bench know one will know until they announce who is playing. The Pistons love to make people guess that's part of their mind game and they are very good at it.

I'd be surprised unless they've been pulling our leg the whole week. Billups age doesn't mark him as a quick recovery. They have home court and looks like he'd be back to normal way before game 5. Don't know why they would risk it.
Because its the Pistons I wouldnt be surprised.

I bet the Pistons actually just staged Game 4 and they will bring Billups out to play in the REAL Game 4. You know, because the Pistons are so manipulative like that.
At the end of the day, it's not about wins and losses. Teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship make champions of us all.
