If anyone is looking for some entertainment in the way of grave-digging a thread...
I've made probably like two trade proposals during my tenure on RealGM, and here is one of them revolved around Boozer/Francis:
Devin's rare trade proposal (Orl/Minn/Utah) Circa Jan. 2006
Like many old threads, it's funny to look back on now.

a) we wouldnt want boozer. he needs a spaced up floor to score in the paint. so does howard. they will clog up the paint. also, his has a non-existent defense. he is undersized, when his offense disappears, he is going to harm, not benefit.
b) utah wouldnt want hedo. they have the man to give the ball. utah has deron williams to make all the assists for them and he is commanding the ball in the crunch time.
sorry, this doesnt make sense for either side.

The guy is a loser ... terrible lack luster defense together with a disappearing act when it matters most... he should blend in nicely with Rashard...
Boozer is a winner just watch him play and plays great defense. Coach Sloan would not allow anything else. He would be a perfect fit with Howard.
I know because I have watched more Jazz games then the Magic since I used to live in Utah before moving to NY. The Jazz have always been about producing defensive players and if that player doesn't want to play Sloans way then he is someone who won't be playing for the Jazz any longer.

So you think it funny that the guy actually knows how to play basketball and can play great defense as well.
Considering how many in the NBA seem to just barely know how to play the game and don't know anything about defense.
I would rather have Boozer on this team then any of the PF's in this draft.

OMG! I cannot believe what i have just read! During the regular season or playoffs, whoever he is guarding goes off for a career night. last year in the WCF, he made Oberto look like a superstar!
Wow I see you haven't been checking the stats. All I see is that you don't like Boozer.
And BTW he also had his best year this past season.
Some of my friends in Utah are saying he is reminding them of Karl.

I have been watching the games instead! Everyone who watch the games can tell you his defense is non-existant... Anyone he is (not) guarding is having a career night or series...
Actually I did watch their games and not just the Magic another great reason for NBA League Pass.
So actually saw him play defense and his stats back that up.

Boozer's defense is pretty bad right now, however he was a really good defender just a few seasons back...that's what happens when you get the dollars, you dont need to play defense any more...really though he's worked so much on his offense that his D has suffered...not a big deal, still a great player to have on your front line...
