AP - The Redskins traded for defensive end Jason Taylor on Sunday, sending two draft picks to the Dolphins, as reported by the Associated Press.

The Redskins gave the Dolphins a second-round pick in 2009 and a sixth-round pick in 2010.

Zach Thomas and Taylor back in the same division....this time...with two rivals!

Great pickup for my Skins. Taylor is still good for 10-12 sacks a year and we needed it now more than ever.

Nice pick up, but at a high cost (2nd and 6th round picks) with a good GM.

Fortunately, the Redskins lack the GM. LOL

Honestly I feel this is one of the better deals that the Skins have done in the Snyder regime. For a player of his caliber, if he plays 2-3 seasons then he should be well worth the 2nd rounder. When I saw we traded for Taylor I assumed we gave in and gave up a 1st.

I like the pick up too, and the Skins most likely would blow the pick anyway.

Taylor can still play.......

I like the pickup for Washington as long as Taylor plays more than 1 season. If he does, then I think it is a good move by them.

Wow, I didn't hear that one. I've got to start researching some info for my fantasy football league. This would be a great match with Brees.

As far as JT goes, Miami got what they wanted, he was becoming a major distraction for them. The Skins are going to be a team on the rise this year. Zorn is going to turn them around in a big way, got two great receivers in the draft to go along with Santana and Randel El. Portis is going to be a beast this year too. Now if Campbell can develop, they are golden.
