I wouldn't waste a 1st rounder on Marcus Williams. I would much rather have Crittenton and I think it would also take a 1st rounder.

Marcus is decent and only 22. He's not better than Jameer, but in a year he will... we'll watch him blow up in GS.

And we sign and traded Dooling for poop when we needed a PG.

Let's hope Crit ends up here or some people will be mad.

would be great if we could have gotten him, but not for a future 1st. if he can rebound from the injuries and play more consistent, i can see him becoming a solid player.

Honestly, what other options do/did we have at this point? Marcus Williams was projected to be drafted much higher than what he was. He played behind Jason Kidd, Devin Harris, and now he gets his time to shine. I would of given a first round pick for Marcus. A mid-20 pick? Come on.

Good pickup for the W's, he should be a good backup for Monta.

No. If the Nets have given up a trade exception and Williams and gotten Dooling and a first round pick in return, why would they have given us Williams + part of the TE for Dooling, thus missing out on a first round pick?

with the way nelly likes to play small and the way that monta runs the point, you'll probably see them playing together quite a bit in the future.

I'm not a fan of him much. I rather have Crittenton. Still good pick-up for Warriors.
