OT: Dwyane Wade

Post#1 » by Cigamodnalro » Sat Jul 26, 2008 1:48 am

is officially, irrefutably back.

If Wade is at 100% next season, Miami is a very dangerous team. I don't think that they'll challenge for the division, but I think that they are every bit as good as the Wizards are. If Wade is able to bond with Marion even at all, I would lock the Matrix up and move into the future with a nucleus of Chalmers/Wade/Beasley/Marion/Haslem. This is a playoff team now and in the future.

I agree, they will be much better than last year.

Beasley is going to be a huge factor as a rookie, chalmers has been impressive, and they have a rookie head coach, but I'm telling you guys, Spoelstra is cut from the same cloth as SVG and Riley, he will be very impressive this season.

The Heat will be much improved next season.

One last thing, they got James Jones as a FA, one of the best spot up 3 point shooters in the league, will definitely help to spread the floor with wade out there.

The wade/beasley pic and roll will be very hard to stop....

D Wade looked outstanding last night. Even though I am a Magic fan, I am glad to see him back healthy. He is one of my favorite players to watch when healthy. I think Miami can make the playoffs but I don't see them as a threat for the division. Nothing against Chalmers but I still think they need a better starting PG at least for the next year or two as Chalmers improves.

I am glad to hear D-Wade is almost 100% healthy. I am glad his career did not end up like Penny Hardaway where he has a good season or 2 and then plagued by injuries. I cannot wait to see how a season of Wade/Marion works out. I know it is not as good but I have heard comparisons of Wade/Marion = Jordan/Pippen. Any thoughts?

Marion is way uglier than Pippen.

Very Funny. I did not mean it in that sense but it works.
