J-Will signed by the Clippers

Post#1 » by glennathan » Fri Aug 8, 2008 3:12 pm

well here is another PG we lost out on. Again I don't know to much about him. Heard he would be good for us but here is the link for the signing.

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... _williams/

Looks like we are running thin on choices if we are going to get a third PG.

meh...not a big loss for us and not a big gain for LAC...we were out of the J-Will sweepstakes the moment we signed Johnson...

even still our choices for a 3rd PG is running low. But one thing still keeps coming to my mind. Is CLee going to see mins at PG?

lee could if he shows the ability and can take care of the ball, I dont personally feel a 3rd pg is a big priority as long as johnson and jameer stay healthy. Hedo takes care of the ball alot of the time anyway, and if lee can play spot minutes at pg we will be fine i still think we need a banger at the 4 position like a reggie evans, battie and cook are to soft IMO.

Seems like he's missed about 1/2 dozen games each a season.

I though Bo Outlaw retired? I would not mind it. How about we bring Garrity back? J/k I think I opened up the flood gates by posting this. seriously I think Reggie evans or cardinal could be good for us. Bigger question is can we sign them due to our shortage on cash flow?

Reggie Evans could be available, but he makes a lot of $...Cedric Simmons for the TPE = great deal...as far as 3rd PG, if you are considering Green, I would rather take Darius Washington...

we used our money on those 2...it's been assumed that the 3rd PG would come via trade if at all...

it's been the plan for awhile my friend...all is well...it's typical operation for a team low on spots and cash...we didnt really have too many options with the money we had available...Foyle was bleh, but it is what it is...

Not surprising, and not all that disappointing.
Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
