Flip Murray

Post#1 » by Cigamodnalro » Mon Aug 11, 2008 3:17 pm

Another big, scoring guard who is having trouble landing a new contract. He's not much of a defender, but he'd be instant offense off of the bench (11 ppg last year with IN). He isn't known for his passing (~8 assists/48 minutes), but I think that he'd be an improvement over Arroyo and that he might be had for the vet min.

He drew some interest from the Cavaliers as well, but that was before the team signed Tarence Kinsey. The Mavericks and Wizards have shown some interest as well.

Murray played with Indiana at the end of last season.

Wow, if we're not careful our best talent will start heading overseas, not just marginal mle players. money talks and euro > dollar.

I would like Flip as another combo guard but I doubt he would take the minimum from us. Another player probably to Europe.

Flip would be nice but it seems as though he's going overseas

I think we should look for youth now.

Is there even anyone decent left outhere? :dontknow:

Why would want another SG. In Seattle he was tried at PG and it was pretty much a disaster.

Flip played well last yet....The only poisition he played all year was at the point, Seattle was a while ago, i think hes pretty much only playing PG the last couple.

Didnt expect that but its a ok fit i guess, maybe Mo is gonna play the reserve 3 primarily grabbing most of Chills minutes.
