Donyell Marshall

I sure would like to have him on our bench as a back up. He is older than Cook, but plays better defense and can still hit the three.
out of difficulty comes opportunity.

At this point Marshall and Cook are about equal. Cook might actually be better right now. Marsh is getting up there in age and injuries.

He would be a redundant piece. We need rebounding, defense and toughness.

He is an older version of Brian Cook. I do not want him at this point and I don't think he has much left in the tank. We need defense and rebounding not 3 pt shooting.

We need a lot of things, including an experienced big who fits our system in case Battie and/or Cook goes down.

Cook sucks. Period.

Donyell will have 2 20 points games on the season, in 54 games, because he'll be injured some and still, he'll be better than cookie.

Anyway, I don't want him on the magic, neither cookie.

Cook was a good PF off the bench. He won us some games last year with his 3s, before he got injured. We could have used him in the playoffs. He could have opened the post up for Dwight.
But Marsh is too old. We need a youthful PF who can play above the rim.

Yeah, I'm not terribly excited about having Cook or Marshall on this team either, but successful teams always manage to get the little bit they need from at least one or two marginal players. Examples from last year are Eddie House with Boston, Turiaf with the Lakers, Jarvis Hayes with Detroit, and Daman Staudamire with San Antonio.

Keep that lazy fata** off this team. I'd rather have Tractor than his hasbeen.

And Cookie FAR exceeds D Marsh.
