Next step, win the division, then the playoffs!!!!!!!

I have been watching alot of Rays baseball on TV and this team is fun to watch. I love these guys, everyone contributes, incredibly resilient, easy to cheer for, good people too. There is something special about this team.

yea i know.

i want a RAYS versus CUBS world series showdown.

that will be sweet and the rays swept the cubs at tropicana field and since the american league won the all star game the home field advantage goes to the rays then.

cross your fingers october is going to be sweet

you got the playoffs, horror nights at universal and my birthday. best month ever lol

Speaking as one of the few "Rays Scholars"............... CONGRATULATIONS.

It is the World Series or BUST.

This is the first success of MANY.

Even though I am an Indians fan (my wive says so :)), one can appreciate that for a team that has never had a season without 90+ loses, this is a Magic season for the Floridian West Coast.

I'm mostly happy to see the Evil Empire do so poorly. In this, I thank the Rays for all the loses they helped NY pile on !!!

With the Mets loss, the Brewers limp closer to the playoffs.

I can't wait for a Milwaukee / Tampa Bay World Series! Bud Selig's head explodes. :)

Brewers and Rays might void all TV contracts.

The Mets look to be imploding again. I think that if this happens, it makes two years in a row......that would have to give them reign as the all time baseball choking team. Lots of teams have done it once, but twice...and in a row?

As a Yankees fan who was in the majority when I went to go see them play in St. Pete, it is wonderful to see the Rays in the playoffs this year.

The fans really deserve it and I'll be rooting for them to come out of the AL.

Speaking of TV contracts, I do hope a good playoff run for the Rays can put some pressure on Bright House and FSN Florida to reach an agreement but not sure how likely that is.

CONGRATS ON being the AL EAST DIVISION CHAMPS

we needed this, I'm glad they didn't settle for just making the playoffs although it would have been nice for us to clinch by winning.

I have tix to game 2 of the playoffs!!!!

Well done, although I am not sure I want the Rays to face Minnesota.

The Twins are without a doubt, the scrappiest team in MLB.

GO WHITE SOX..........

Really, all four AL clubs are better than any except the Cubs in the NL.

There is no easy matchup in the AL.
