that's alot of wins

especially when the eastern conference did kind of improve alittle.

I think they are gonna end like 48-34, if they aren't looking to trade Hedo if they don't extend him..

If they do try to trade hedo, I think they would end up at around 41 or 43 games.

So we got worse?

This to me means that he thinks we stayed about the same and others improved.

Did we have alot of wins last season? His prediction only calls for a few more - +4, which is about "only" a 8% improvement.

i still think our front court is one player shy of us having real depth. a McDyess/Thomas/Brown type bruising role player. our backcourt is in limbo until we find out what MP, JJ and Lee can provide on a nightly basis, but i feel fairly sure they'll be at least decent.

i agree with the predicitions RawLewD12 and Eyeriq put up - good work guys.

i feel this season Nelson will improve. the trap-door that was Arroyo and Dooling have been taken away from him and he doesn't have to worry about being relegated to the bench anymore. hopefully this helps build his confidence and we see more play from him at the level we saw in the playoffs.

i think JJ will become our 3pt specialist off the bench this year, if he gets time. i still think Bogans is a front runner to steal the backup minutes from MP, but hopefully SVG explores what JJ and Lee can do on the court, especially considering Bogans will most likely be gone after this season.

that brings us to Gortat and Battie in the front court. Battie will give us what he's always given us, which is decent, but not elite level. he's good on D, but he's not gonna come in and pair up with Dwight and shut down an opposition's front court the way Detroit can. Gortat is our hope for that. i'm one of the many on the Gortat bandwagon and i'm hoping he gets the minutes to prove himself this year. i think he could become more of a defensive presence than Battie, and could become the key backup we want.

remember people - Battie's contract is up after this season, and in my mind Battie's contract + Hedo's current contract = the kind of contract Hedo will want/deserve. i wouldn't be surprised to see Battie shipped out if Gortat hits the ground running.
