OT: NY Nicks Training Camp

Post#1 » by EasternMagic » Mon Oct 6, 2008 8:12 pm

I've been watching it on NBATV and just by watching their plays you can see D'antoni implementing his fast pace offense.... and Eddy Curry struggling. Anyone else watching? and how do you think his system is gonna work there? and Stephon is in attendance, and seeing a lot of nate robinson
Oh and they have been playing Duhon at the 1 Marbury at the 2 Crawford at the 3 Randolph at the 4 and Lee at the 5

Yeah the Knicks I think will be better than they were with Isiah Thomas but not much. The fast paced offense is hard to learn when your not used to it. Allan Houston looks like he still has his shot.. I would think he would make the team based on that alone.. Eddy Curry looks bigger, so i agree with the reports saying he reported in the worst shape of his life..

I highly doubt Curry is going to "make it" in this new offense.

Knicks need to be shopping him RIGHT NOW.

Love how he just said "Orlando possibly a 55-57 win team"

Oh my bad, Rick Kamla and Walt Frazier were talking about the Magic when they were talking about the East changes.. and Rick Kamla stated that the Magic were potentially a "55-57 win team".

Curry is such an idiot. He shows up to camp out of shape, and now I read this Wiretap headline: "Curry: I'm Not Here To Come Off Bench".

At least Marbury reversed his own similar statements, and now says he'll come off the bench if that's what the Knicks want. What I find strange is just a few weeks ago, it looked like he probably wouldn't even be on the team anymore. Then, he starts saying he should be the starter? Good lord man, you were already walking on eggshells, then you make statements about starting? I would've just shut up and done anything I was told and been thankful I was still somehow there. Wait, I take that back - anyone but Marbury would've done that.

The guy to watch on the Knicks is Wilson Chandler. This guy is going to be very good for D'Antoni.
