Haters. Dude played the minutes he did because there was hardly anybody better, had an incompetent head coach, and probably most importantly, he was a role player that knew his role, kept quiet, and hustled like crazy for everything else.

On a side note, it came as no surprise (to me at least :D) that he was FANTASTIC in the color role tonight on the radio broadcast. Really insightful, short and to the point, and he knew what he was talking about. That guy is a broadcaster or a coach waiting to happen.

He really was good on radio hope he can do more. And ya as much as we bash Garrity he's a great guy, played his ass off and was always ready to go even though he knew he probably wouldnt get in, great role player and a great part of our history with that heart and hustle team. PROPS TO PAT!!!!!

Pat has superstar broadcaster potential. He could take over eventually for Matty or go national for TNT. I was really impressed with the job he did on the radio.

For those of us who missed last night's radio broadcast, what's the story with Pat? Was he one of the broadcasters? Or was he on for an interview?

He was the color man alongside Dennis Newman. He did great, was very insightful.

Here is what the Sentinel had to say:

"Garrity's radio return

After hanging up his sneakers last month after nine seasons in Orlando, Pat Garrity was back at Amway Arena. But Garrity was on the sideline this time to provide radio color commentary alongside play-by-play man Dennis Neumann."

Awesome. So basically Garrity > Dalembert in basketball, and in broadcasting.

I just hope they don't get rid of Richie Adubato.... It's great listening to Dennis keep him on task as he gets drunker & drunker throughout the night...
