What's going on with JJ, can't even score a basket.

Jameer seems to suffer in half court sets unless he penetrates. I don't think he thrives when he has to pass the ball off to another player on the perimeter, though that is where Hedo and Lewis like to get it. Just let him penetrate to at least the key and make his passes from there, or get his shot. Much more effective that way I think.

I'd also like to see Lewis getting the ball more in the high post like they do with Battie. I think he and Dwight could wreck havoc playing the hi and low posts repsectively and playing off each other.

Which leads me to another observation; Dwight is a ball hog! Play more in and out Dwight, come on!

All in all it has been a great offensive performance so far!

I bet most of it has to do with not hitting a basket yet. The more he misses, the more he thinks about it.

As our commentators have been mentioning, he appears to be aiming the ball right now, instead of shooting it the way he normally would. Once he hits a basket or two, he should start to settle down and shoot the ball better.

Plus, how many times do you see him catch in the post, pass out and repost, and get better position?

Either Pietrus has significantly improved his FT shooting, or he's due for a very rough stretch. Throughout the preseason and the first 3 games, he's been Nash-esque.
